Tried to fuel up twice, not allowed to use card at pump, went to circle K instead. Not a good business strateg.

Best. Cheesecake. Ever!!!…read more If you haven't heard about the super day cheesecake and you live in the proximity of this spot, you must be living under a rock. Everyone I know brags about their cheesecake, as well as everything else that they offer there. The pizza, eclairs, apple crumble pie, you name it. And the people are always pleasant. It has a gas station atmosphere since it technically is a gas station. But I like it. In all honesty, I fought myself on pisting this review because I don't want to have to deal with lots of people the next time I want my cheesecake fix. They even allow you to special order for the holidays to guarantee that you'll have fresh desserts for Thanksgiving or Christmas. They also have daily specials too, so make sure you check them out on Facebook because they post them there.

This is where you can get good food without the fussiness. I have been going there for maybe twenty…read moreyears. It is my family's stop before we go to the beaches in Boca Grande, Blind Pass, or Manasota Key. It is usually crowded as their food is in demand. They also sell convenience items, lotto, tees and beach coverups. There is a permanent vendor outside on the sidewalk, by the entrance who sells jewelry, semi-precious stones and artifacts. He is a local fixture at Super Day; being there for as long as we have been passing through. Rain or shine, rainy season, dry season, he is always there. There is a variety of cooked food, desserts, and snacks available; almost anything to satisfy your gastronomic desires. I have seen ribs, roasts, various pastas, jambalaya, fried chicken, shrimp, scampi, and much more cooked food. There are sandwiches, salads, cakes, ice cream, cookies, and even fresh fruit. Definitely not your regular gas station menu. I always get the fried fish filets and fries for my son who is a very picky eater. Their pizza is tasty and satisfying. There is no space to eat. However there is a little park with picnic benches next to the station. Most people just eat in their vehicles or leave with the food. If you are in the area, stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Which in itself is a hastle since I wanted to pay at the pump and go. Once gas was pumped I went in for a receipt and was met by another cashier - not so knowledgeable / nice . Used the Florida app to purchase lottery and attempted to use bar code for tickets # I picked - was told had to fill out manually - so after being in the gas station for a while and waiting in cashier lines 3 times - I finally got gas and lottery . Service is slow except for the 20-30 year old attendant with short hair- male - who was courteous and helpful - if I wasn't treated by him I would rate the service lower . Just fyi don't use lottery app and pick lottery numbers and then go in with bar code - won't work

So husband went to the pump and entered Capital One credit card (not debit) which was saying "See…read morecashier". Not wanting to see cashier, he used another card. In the meantime, he received a text alert which asked him if he tried to spend $151.00 at Pilot?? He answered "no" to the text. When done pumping he went inside to report that he was alerted to a $151.00 attempted charge that he declined and wanted the station to know what card and the amount, for reference. They said it does it all the time??? So it takes one card, no problem, but then another it tries to pre-charge $151.00 and says "see cashier" and the station thinks that's fine? Unacceptable. Since he answered the text that he did not attempt a $151.00 charge, his card is now canceled, and he has to wait for replacement in the mail. Be aware -- do not try to use Capital One apparently at this station for some ODD reason. Never had this experience with this card at any other gas station --ever!
