I subscribe to the "Genius" package, which is 15 washes for $15 a month, and includes a complete wash, tire shine, a cloth to clean my interior/glass, and an air freshener of choice. The facility is very tidy and organized, and if you're a monthly subscriber, they put a sticker on your windshield so that when you arrive, you can just drive through without pushing any buttons. I've never had a negative experience here, whether with the staff or with the quality of the wash. My car always comes out spotless and shiny, with no issues to speak of. There are tons of vacuums available to use after your wash is done, and yes, these are the high-quality, "nothing gets past this sucker" machines that we all love. Also provided at each station are bottles of glass cleaner and degreaser to get your car all spin and span. If you're in the market for a top-notch establishment to suit your car cleaning needs, then give Carwash U a try. Even though I have a high number of check-ins here, it still doesn't even begin to reflect how much I actually stop at this store because half the time I forget to check-in because the stop is so quick. Gas is as cheap as it's going to get in this area of town. There are plenty of pumps and enough space between the pumps that you're night right on top of another car. I've never had a problem with any of the pumps working properly. The store is always clean, as are the restrooms. Tons of snacks can be found here in this large store and everything is always well-stocked. The cashiers are nice and friendly. Buy one of their 64oz plastic "jugs" (it's either 5 or 6 bucks and comes with a fountain drink) and then you can come in whenever you like and fill it up for a buck. You don't even have to have one of the Gate "jugs" ... you can have one for Hess, 7-11, etc... they'll still let you fill it up for a buck. They have an air pump and it's free. I arrived at 12:13 and didn't receive a call that my car was ready until 1:50. After having my vehicle for that length of time, I expected it to be thoroughly cleaned. Instead, my dashboard is still dusty, the windows have water marks, and there is still shampoo/product left on the exterior of the car. NOT TO MENTION THE DIRT THAT IS STILL ON THE CAR!!! The interior also feels extremely greasy from whatever product was used. Most concerning, the brake pedal is so slick that my foot is actually slipping off of it, which is a serious safety issue. After waiting nearly an hour and 40 minutes, I should not have to go home and clean my car again. It is NOT CLEAN. Beaches Car Wash used to be a place I could count on for quality service, which is why this experience is so disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I cannot recommend them. Edit: took it back after waiting 20 minutes on hold. Was told to speak to Allen the Manager. When I got there Allen offered me a "rain check". I said no because I'm not coming back here. I want the problem fixed. So I waited another hour and fifteen minutes for them to clean up the car. I can promise you I was not the only one complaining. Unfortunately this is another great Beach business bought out by a corporation that thinks they know better. If they were so busy and could not handle the cars that were there, close it until you can, hire more people or maybe Allen should come out of his office and grab a rag. The store has all your convenience store essentials like blunt wrappers, malt liquor, condoms, lottery tickets, etc. They also sell gasoline; the price is in line with the other stores around. The inside of this particular RaceTrac location has the usual convenience store items that you associate with this particular brand of gas station. The staff was friendly enough and this particular gas station performed its purpose and I filled my automobile and was on my way in relatively no time flat. All in all, I would recommend this particular RaceTrac.
