Even though I have a high number of check-ins here, it still doesn't even begin to reflect how much I actually stop at this store because half the time I forget to check-in because the stop is so quick. Gas is as cheap as it's going to get in this area of town. There are plenty of pumps and enough space between the pumps that you're night right on top of another car. I've never had a problem with any of the pumps working properly. The store is always clean, as are the restrooms. Tons of snacks can be found here in this large store and everything is always well-stocked. The cashiers are nice and friendly. Buy one of their 64oz plastic "jugs" (it's either 5 or 6 bucks and comes with a fountain drink) and then you can come in whenever you like and fill it up for a buck. You don't even have to have one of the Gate "jugs" ... you can have one for Hess, 7-11, etc... they'll still let you fill it up for a buck. They have an air pump and it's free. Very convenient when hopping off and on I-295.

I purchased my membership online (yesterday around 8:30am) & I'm going to suggest you do NOT do the same. I arrived shortly after 8am opening today & my license plate wasn't recognized. The 1st employee I interacted with informed me I had to give the system 24h to register my subscription. I was less than 30m early for the 24h mark. He said I could park up front & wait or come back. I decided to run an errand and come back. I arrived back around 10am. My license plate still was not recognized. The 2nd employee attempted to bring my membership up on the screen but it still wasn't showing as active even though I am able to bring it up on the webpage showing as Active. He did not want to let me in & only begrudgingly did so after I pointed out this would be the second time I was being turned away despite having a paid membership. If my future trips include issues like this, I will be cancelling my membership & going elsewhere.

I had planned to find a car wash that afternoon, and this one just happened to be in the right place at the right time. As soon as I pulled in, I was warmly greeted by a kind older gentleman who made me feel truly welcome and appreciated--he even gave me a free air freshener, which was such a thoughtful touch. I opted for their $22 wash package called All the Luv, and it definitely lived up to its name. I couldn't help but giggle when I saw the wash area playfully named the Tunnel of Luv--such a cheeky and fun detail! My SUV came out sparkling clean, and I was quickly back on the road to my next appointment. Fast, friendly, and convenient--what more could you ask for?

The store has all your convenience store essentials like blunt wrappers, malt liquor, condoms, lottery tickets, etc. They also sell gasoline; the price is in line with the other stores around. So if you looking at being intoxicated, fueling up your car, or just need a can of gas for other reasons then Gate is for you. So much better than those little hole in the wall Stations that I would never fathom using their restrooms due to them being "not so clean". I like the spaciousness between the multiple pumps they have. Easy to pull in and easy to pull out to get back out on the road.
