I reached out to corporate over the situation and they ignored both my wife and I after an initial canned response. It breaks my heart to sever my once loyal ties with Thorntons over this station's poor customer policies and treatment. This was not my primary Thorntons, but the complete lack of customer appreciation by this station and the corporation led me to this.

Have you ever actually looked at the can when you buy from these refrigerated sections at gas stations? They are often caked in dust and grime right on top where you put your mouth, seriously it's disgusting. I always wipe them down anyway, but they keep their storage clean here and that shows a level of care you won't get at other local stations. The down side is how busy this place gets, and how poorly the staff seem to handle it. It's frustrating when a line is so long it's extending into the aisles, people can't browse the items and often cant tell where the line actually ends. To summarize they have a solid selection and prices, they also offer a rewards card I believe, but are dragged down by poor customer service. Towed car to Volkswagen dealer. They found contaminated gas in the tank. They had to pump out all gas, clean the tank, replace filters and pump. Just under $1000 to fix the problem. Station owners could not care less and were very rude when I told them! Corporate Exxon Mobil agreed that station owners should have handled the situation MUCH BETTER and agreed with me that they were the cause of the problem. Corporate does not stand behind their product at individual stations which is a joke so incidents like this give Exxon Mobil a bad name however with record profits they could not care less! BEWARE
