Cumberland took over and honestly made the gas station look a thousand times better and cleaner. Everything is brand new and the little market is now bigger with more options. The only downfall is the prices are up and no longer the cheapest in the area unless you're a member (and let's face it, I always use this gas station because the one near my home is 50 cents more per gallon). I ended up signing up as a member and it's quite easy to use! Just sign up, download the app, and once it's confirmed (about 24 hrs), you can use the app to get gas. Just put in the location, the pump that you're at, and go! You save 10 cents a gallon by signing up as a member so at the end of the day, this gas station IS cheaper but only if you're a member.

As someone who's experienced the gamut of auto mechanics from the skilled and honest to the clueless and untrustworthy, I can honestly say that the manager, Chip, and all of the mechanics and technicians at Westport Auto Repair fall into the skilled and honest category. Long story short: My car's front Axle and Control Arm broke while driving down on a hill on a side street in Westport. I probably wouldn't be here writing this if it happened on the highway an hour earlier. With my front tire hanging off and the car unmovable in the middle of a busy street, I thought a nightmare day and a huge repair bill were in my future. Then, fate smiled upon me and when a car pulled up and asked if I needed help. Of course, I did! This kind stranger turned out to be Chip, the manager at Westport Auto Repair! Amazing! He offered to arrange a tow to the garage and take a look at it. He had already surmised what the issue was just from a quick check on the road...his assumption turned out to be right. Very skilled and educated, with an easy-going, professional attitude- so rare these days. When I got to the garage, they acted quickly, evaluated the situation and explained to me the repair and the cost. Well below the price that I feared and Chip explained and detailed the work clearly and professionally. After a short time, I was on the road again, thanks to the hard work and kindness of this business. I have to say that I've never had a better car repair experience. If you pay in cash, the gas is cheaper by a couple of cents. The convenience store is small but clean. Everything is well stocked and the majority of the staff are friendly and nice. There's only one person that works there that seems miserable and often snaps at me for some stupid things (ex: buying too many drinks, asking about a certain cigar brand, etc). Everyone else is pretty chill and will happily greet you or talk to you. This gas station is pretty close to the on-ramp south bound so that is great.
