This place is right off the exit, so you barely have to convince your GPS to cooperate. The area is spotless, and the inside is a delightful surprise. Not only do they keep things sparkling, but they also have a cheese selection from the farm next door and an ice cream counter with farm-fresh scoops because who doesn't want to fill up on gas AND happiness? You'll also find sandwiches, a microwave for your culinary experiments, and all sorts of trinkets and classic gas station oddities. The staff? Friendly. This is a gas station, but it's also part of Fair Oaks Farm and is called the Farmstead Market & Dairycatessen. They sell all sorts of dairy-related products here, like ice cream (scoops in a cup or cone, as well as sundaes, floats, shakes and malts), cheese and milk. You'll also find local honey, baked goods, jams, Indiana wine, gifts and lots more. This convenience store is cozy and homey. There is a table with a couple of chairs near the ice cream counter, in case you want to eat your ice cream in the store. Otherwise, this is a grab-and-go kind of joint. Outside of the store is a free dog park that's also a part of Fair Oaks Farm. Very nice gas station on the Fair Oaks Farm property. Clean as a whistle, stocked with more than the usual amount of impulse/travel items, and numerous gas pumps. The prices were good also. This gas station is our go to stop when we head from Indiana to Dunes/Chicago and vice versa. The gas station boasts a very clean rest area, a Farmstead market, dog park, out door seating and electronic charging points. Every one of the above amenities are so well maintained, clean and effortlessly convenient for a stop between long drives. There's significant flow of customers at any point though the day due to Fair Oaks in the same location and that makes me as a female feel super comfortable coming down at night or even late at 10pm. I have utilized the Farmstead Market to buy fresh coffee, baked items, cheese and many products for my day to day recipes. There's fresh batches of ice cream which is the USP of the market. The prices are pretty decent and I do enjoy trying the season specials such as apple or farm fresh fruits. read more

Active tornado in the area, people were trying to seek shelter, older couples, family's with young children. Instead the staff forced everyone out and locked the doors. Very unprofessional and just inhumane, the lack of empathy was shocking. read more

We went to the Farmstead market & Dairycatessan. The stores carry Fair Oaks farms items like ice cream, sauce, preserves, cheese, sandwiches, etc. They also have attached restrooms and gas station stores too. Their ice cream tastes delicious!! They have a farm attached to the gas station to which the public can take admission for adventure. We will try this another time! The parking for the gas station is big and spacious. Great setting, clean. Nice deli offerings for a gas station. However, they are not accurate on their pricing from the shelf to the register. When I brought the 40% increase to the attention of the cashier, Ms Kirsten was super condescending. Watch your receipts unless you like being overcharged and don't expect an apology or for them to make it right, according to Kirsten they will charge you whatever is in their system, regardless of what they label on the shelf. I'll sacrifice 'cute' for honesty and head up the road to another stop on my frequent trips up and down I-65. read more

I love this BP, I love how environmentally friendly it looks (will never forget about that oil spill though). It compliments the farm next door, plenty of parking. They even got a spot to charge electric vehicles which is super awesome! The inside is farm themed as well as the exterior. Plenty of gas pumps, outdoor seating too. A spot for your furry friend to use the restroom. Tons of merchandise inside. My favorite part is the animal statues inside and outside the area but nothing is more riotous than seeing a picture when you open the door about their no smoking policy and there's a picture of a cow ( professionally photo shopped) smoking a cigarette. read more

Well if you need gas food or a dog park this place has it all. Right off I 65 between Chicago and Lafayette. You can get the farms great cheese ice cream and even fried chicken here. No long lines same great ice cream. Also has small assortment of cold and hot sandwiches. Clean with helpful staff. Great middle point to stop if traveling from Chicago or up north. Very clean gas station and have a wide section of sandwiches,ice cream, food, cheese, and drink. It's Fair Oaks Farms has station and next door is fair oaks tours and the farmhouse restaurant. They have two or three spots to charge an electric car if that's your type of thing and also have a huge dog park for your furry friends to get some fresh air. Gas prices are also usually pretty reasonable but we all know how that goes ! read more

This is a decent gas station in the parking lot of Fair Oaks Farms. The new dog park is right behind it, so the gas station serves as the place to get some food/drink and use the restroom for people visiting the park. read more

Pretty much the best gas station I've ever been to. The gas pumps are new and clean, the store was well stocked with Fair Oaks Farm ice cream and lots of other good stuff. And most amazingly, there was a huge dog park at this station. The dog park was nicer than any park I've been to in Washington DC. It's kind of an oasis of awesomeness off of I-65. read more

If you get the chance, definitely stop here. It's just off the highway on a farm. If you like dairy, this is the ultimate ice cream, ultra pasteurized milk, cheese, and fresh beef sticks stop. Everything is made right there on the farm and the prices are so low! You can even go into the farm store that's next to this gas station. Bathrooms were so clean and the service was great. Gas is also a good price. I recommend looking through their gourmet cheeses- the prices were shockingly low. I loaded up and put them in a cooler to drive back with FL with. lol read more
