We always used to laugh at the marquee sign out front that said "fine wine and boiled peanuts"... the key to any south Alabama quality evening. And although I never tried the peanuts (i'm a bit of a boiled peanut snob), they actually did have a vast variety of wines. They also had a decent craft beer selection. Not great. But once again pretty good for a store this size. The staff is always friendly and once again very convenient for this side town. A great spot for a quick in and out if you are looking for convenience.

The parking lot and pump area looks like it doesn't get regularly swept up and debris removed. The inside floors need a good sweep & mop as well. I visited in the morning hours, normally an overnight clean would still be looking good at this hour. Bathrooms were ok and the outside patio tables were clean but the ground is covered with cigarette butts. Maintenance might be an issue here. First pump I tried to use was out of commission. At the fountain drink station the cubed ice maker was not working and the soft drinks weren't being carbonated at all. The employee at the counter was friendly.

I pass this location everyday to/from work, and had never stopped. Got my gas and ran in for some coffee! Very impressed with the cleanliness of the store! Coffee was hot (always a plus in my book). The hot food station was closed, but it looked like the had items for breakfast, lunch, as well as snacks. Minus one star for the loud music (inside and outside the store)!

Gas pumps worked nicely, paid at pump , provided my receipt and it was well lit. All the things I look for when getting gas. The trash needed to be attended to but it wasn't overflowing. I think someone just missed actually putting their trash inside but instead laid it on top. Lazy Overall this was a typical gas station experience. It's on Crestwood Blvd close to Irondale so I'm usually only in this area when I want to go to Wal-Mart. On top of offering some of the lowest prices in our area, they also have a credit card with a rewards program that allows you to save 5 cents per gallon on gas. I haven't applied for that yet, but think it sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Might save the burden of shopping around for gas before you fill up if you already know they are among the cheapest and also get a guaranteed 5 cents off. They have plenty of pumps, and I've never had to wait on one like I do at other places. I've also never had a problem with the receipt printing, and I'm one of those people that always wants a receipt!

This review isn't of the actual gas station, but the business that is run out of former car wash. I…read morerealize how that must sound after I reread the first sentence, but if you have a lawn mower or other small engine that needs work, this is your place. Now granted, it's only open Saturday and Sunday, so if you're wanting something to be fixed in a matter of days/hours vs weeks, this isn't the place for you. But if you have time to spare, it's definitely a place to consider. Prices are very reasonable, and the gentleman that works on the mowers is very honest and professional.
