We hired a day-of coordinator through our venue for our wedding to help things go smoothly and take all the stress off of us in terms of the run down of the day, pacing, organizing, etc. - what you'd expect of a professional day-of coordinator. To say she epically failed and basically was a glorified guest of our wedding was an understatement. She did nothing in her job description apart from securing and collecting payment for the venue, and my now-husband and I questioned more than a few times both before and during our wedding why we hired her in the first place. Guess who stepped up and did her job, even when it was out of his scope of work? Ryan. He organized our day rundown, laid out timing of additional wedding performances, made sure our music was on point, and held our hand through the entire process - giving me full confidence my big day would go smoothly and amazing, and he delivered. He was OUR DJ. I cannot write enough good things about him. He is fun, warm, professional, and was an all-around joy and savior at our wedding. Hire him if you truly want the best day of your life. He won't let you down, he'll surpass all expectations. Thank you for everything, Ryan!

Since he obviously is reluctant to provide the services we agreed on, we asked to break the contract-- simple enough. He is keeping our deposit. We have in no way shape of form prevented him from getting business- he is simply holding on to the fact that the contract says "non refundable". Had we changed or minds, I wouldn't argue. But being reluctant to play certain music as a DJ is a break of contract in and of itself. Beware doing business with him. Cordiality will get you nowhere.
