I strongly recommend that anyone considering Boynton Beach Modern Dentistry read this before agreeing to treatment.
On June 11, 2026, I visited the office because I was interested in getting one dental implant. Before I met with the periodontist, I spoke with the office manager, Valery Robledo, who told me the cost for one implant would be $1,695. Because I could not pay the full amount upfront, she recommended that I apply for CareCredit. Based on the price I was given, I agreed to apply and signed a treatment agreement for $1,695.
What happened next was shocking.
Before I even met with the periodontist or agreed to any treatment, the office processed the entire $1,695 charge through my new CareCredit account.
When I finally met with the periodontist, I was told that the treatment discussed by the office would actually cost $16,528--not $1,695--and that I would have to sign an entirely new financial agreement. I immediately refused because this was completely different from what I had been told. I did not sign the new agreement, I declined all treatment, and I left the office without receiving any dental services.
After I got home, I discovered that the $1,695 had already been charged to my CareCredit account, even though I had received absolutely no treatment.
Since then, I have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter. I returned to the office in person and asked for my money to be refunded. I also sent multiple emails requesting a refund, but I never received a response. I contacted CareCredit, and they informed me they have not received any refund or credit from Boynton Beach Modern Dentistry. As a result, the charge remains on my CareCredit account even though I never received the services I was charged for.
After weeks of trying to resolve this directly with the office, I have received neither my money nor any meaningful communication. Because of this, I will be filing a lawsuit in Small Claims Court seeking the return of my $1,695 and any other relief allowed by law.
This review reflects my personal experience. I encourage anyone considering treatment at this office to ask detailed questions about pricing, carefully review all documents before signing, and confirm exactly when any financing or payments will be processed. read more
