Finally they acquired their last store front and it is their full service bar and dining room. 3 out of us ordered their half pound burger. Kayla remembers us from a previous restaurant she worked 7 years ago, and she did not miss a beat. This place now offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, grocery items, Michigan brands, apparel, houseware stuff, and so much more. The staff is friendly and the store is huge and beautiful! Prices are reasonable too... On our recent visits, we purchased some beverages, sandwiches and Better Made chips too. (While in Michigan, amiright?!) They do the job punching the buttons and collecting the payment, but that's where it ends. Understanding that, the store itself is massive. Several coffee options, frozen drinks, coolers full of many different brands and flavours. Shelves of most anything you could possibly need. But the biggest attraction: Chester's Chicken. Extremely insulting manner. She starts in on me..... So now a shouting match ensues, I leave and go down the street to Louie's Market and use the exact same card, swipe it once and fill up my truck. I have lived outside Boyne City for 10 years now and I have always gone there for gas, diesel, propane exchanges, lotto tickets and liquid refreshments....no more. I just called Marathon Headquarters in Findlay, Ohio and told them to clean up that operation and until they do I am now Louie's new customer. I feel no need to be insulted as a customer. They have lost me and I hope you will also consider if you want to deal with insulting people that yell at you when their card reader at the pump doesn't work and you ask them for help.
