Or! The good folks of M & T Auto Body could work their magic. Located just a few paces south of Hinckley's Financial District, M & T is one of those bedrock local places, one of the stronger threads in the fabric of their community. That love of place is reflected in their consistent high quality of work. My first experience was with a work van that was starting to look like a science fair project: "The Ravages of Road Salt." They got it looking shiny and new in no time for about half what I was quoted elsewhere. Just last week, I was able to have them replace a rather tricky system on a German engine with mileage nearly equal to a round-trip to the Moon. Did they run away, screaming? Did they laugh and point? Did they quote me four times the actual cost of the repairs, as another shop did? Naah. They did the job. Hats off to John and the lads of M & T Auto Body. I'm pretty sure they didn't even laugh when I rode my bicycle over to pick up the truck. At least until I was gone. "To pass over youth in dull indifference, to refuse the sweets of life because they once must leave us, is as preposterous as to wish to have been born old, because we one day may be old.For my part, my youth may wear and waste, but it shall never rust in my possession." -- William Congreve

Not a good experience at all. My jeep needed the front fender replaced and the door painted after…read morean accident. The day I picked it up, the new fenders light bulb was broken off inside the lens not working, the fender wasn't in line with the door and hood, the door had fish eyes in the clear and a buffer burn. I made another appointment to get these fixed which they did, no charge. Again, I had to pay for another rental car for three days though. While it was there I decided to have them replace the seat bottom foam and cover I had bought at the jeep dealership. I picked the jeep up discovering that upon reinstalling the seat, they poked a hole in the new oem jeep 600.00 seat cover and scratched both the door panel and sil plate with the metal seat track. Also, the air bag light was illuminated on the dash. They agreed to purchase a new door panel and sil plate, but the cover is no longer available. I suggested they repair the old one for me to have as a spare and leave the new one on with a hole for fear of more damage. That would not be anywhere close to the cost of buying a new one. It took several phone calls, stop ins and emails to get those parts from them. After many many months of the seat cover being at the shop, with the owner saying it would get repaired after I stopped to see, I gave up and picked up the unrepaired seat bottom cover, now covered in dust and dirt. Chapter closed at least. I don't just leave negative reviews, it's not my thing but I have never had to call, email and stop in a place of business so many times to get something fixed, yet not completely. This was an extremely unprofessional transaction. Each time there were easily seen things wrong. I understand things happen, but this was all in lack of quality control, honesty and follow through.
