As this took place during Covid restrictions, a great deal of paperwork was done on-line, by phone and a few home visits. She was very respectful of all the protocols. It was wonderful having this completed in our home as we are both seniors and did not want any more exposure to Covid than necessary. She reviewed our old wills, etc. and talked to us about changes she would suggest. She charged a fee for this process and there was no pressure to update the existing paperwork. We decided, after this review, to update everything. She then set an additional fee for this stage and the original payment was incorporated into the fee. Deborah was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of our Wills, Power of Attorney and Representation Agreements and answered questions to our satisfaction. If something was asked, which was not her area of expertise, she consulted with others and responded back to us. She analyzed our financial position as well, providing scenarios if one of us was deceased, what was left for the surviving spouse. Deborah is a very pleasant, caring and knowledgeable lawyer to work with. She was cognizant of the fact that these were difficult discussions and decisions we were having to engage in. The claim to support an healthy divorce yet ring up the above costs costing their clients a fortune when telephone conversations would suffice. Their healthy divorce also both parties having to have lawyers yet their senior lawyer claims to be a mediator ... but will only mediate through another lawyer. I will avoid this firm.
