I wanted a firm that had an attorney I knew. After retaining that firm I learned that the attorney I knew had retired and was referring his cases to a new associate, who also eventually left. Handling my case then was a partner. I've since learned that the father of one of my son's children's theatre friends was an attorney at Rutter Mills. I feel certain he would have given my case the attention it deserved. And I'm also sure he would have known how to handle my emotions during depositions when I would cry because of the part of my life that was forever changed and the fact that the accident killed my beloved dog.
