Kiddo chose this park for the spinning grey seat which is a fun merry go round style structure similar to the one at Molenaar. Faster than the globe one at Reid Merrill. There is also metal outdoor workout machines facing the park so you can do a pull up while watching the kids. Kiddo says this one is awesome since lots of different places to climb, decent slide, and the structure is long to walk on so great for games of grounders and/or tag. Street parking with one accessible spot. Also has bathrooms but didnt use. Has picnic tables and benches nearby.

My oldest, "Hungry" was SO excited that there was a bonus playground. The farther you get from Boise's downtown epicenter, the harder it is to find parks with decent shade. This park proves that wrong. The whole playground is surrounded by large trees which provide much needed shade for the fiery playground equipment on a Boise July afternoon. They have 4 bucket swims and 4 "big kid" swings, plenty of climbing structures, slides and room to run. The shaded grass goes right up to the play structures, which is ideal for the parent who wants to park the "Hurricane" baby on a blanket in the shade and still (loosely) monitor the other kid. This park also backs up the West YMCA, so expect to see day camp kiddos running around doing science-y, athletic-y, hilarious things in the park as well. When I was there, a whole horde of them were playing Harry Potter, complete with robes, twig wands and "Eat SLUGS Malfoy!" They were so entertaining, I didn't even bury my face in my phone.

I came here because I am playing in a softball league through the city (it is a blast and I highly recommend everyone give it a go)! Our first game was at Fort Boise Park. The field we played on was so well kept, the grass in surrounding areas is groomed, and overall this park is so clean! It is close to the foothills and I imagine you could park in the lot here and then take a trail up to the foothills for a good run/hike.

Our final decision came by walking this park, which happens to have a walk path along the Boise River Greenbelt. So, the park is nice with a fountain, a gazebo, and so on, but it really won our hearts because it conveyed, to us, the spirit of Boise - parks, greenbelt, outdoor activities, and just a nice place to live. I'm sure this prejudiced my five star rating, but I think it would have gotten five stars anyway, just as Boise as a city has for us so far.

It's easily accessed by Warm Springs Avenue at East Parkcenter Boulevard. I rode by bicycle there along the Boise Greenbelt. The park is located east of Warm Springs Golf Course. The city has already added paved walking trails that are off-limits to bikes, but a bicycle trail circles the whole park. There's grassy fields, ponds stocked with fish, a gazebo and restrooms. The wooden fences surrounding cattails and wetlands gives the park a rustic look. There's plenty of parking and it won't take long for the park to become one of the city's favorites.

The play equipment was "accessible" and had opportunities for fun for all ages. There were slides my toddler can enjoy, and larger ones for the older kids. They had baby swings, regular swings, and accessible ones. The winding paths were wide and perfect for side by side stroller walks with a friend. My toddler enjoyed running down the incline of the grass fields. The bathroom stalls were clean, and they had multiple bathroom facilities and covered picnic areas throughout the park. The park even offers nice view of Lake Lowell. Overall, a great park for locals and residents to enjoy!

I didn't discover Elm Grove Park until the start of the pandemic back in 2020 when I started…read moreexploring different streets around my neighborhood. But I am very happy I found it! Usually I do like walking/running 4 laps around the perimeter of the park (two blocks) which is equal to ~1 mile and then relax on the park benches which are well shaded even in the summer. It's the perfect place for families with small kids as there is a playground and is perfect of dog walkers. The park also has a tennis court, public restrooms, a small basketball court, and a grilling area. The only small complaint (which isn't a huge deal) is that some parts along perimeter have a sidewalk and some parts are just a curb. However, traffic around the park is minimal so I think an accident is less likely to happen. I'll continue to come to this park this summer and try out the other amenities in the near future! It's a great spot to take a little break during the day, if you're out in downtown Eagle. They have a Saturday market from 9:30AM - 2PM. This year the market is open April 23 - October 15th. We've been to the market a few times over the last several years and have enjoyed it. There is nowhere near the selection as the downtown Boise market but for Eagle, it's a nice Saturday morning outing!
