I've seen their booths and tournaments and picked up a few discs from them, but it was awesome to go in the small store and have such a huge selection. The owner was really nice as well. He had some excellent advice and recommended me a Westside Warship. I took it up to Bogus Basin and used it as my driver for an entire course. It performed awesome up until hole 18 when a freak burst of wind tossed it clear out of my view and into some thick trees. I never found it, but I bought another one 2 days later. Overall they've got similar prices to everywhere else, an amazing selection of discs, towels, baskets, and other things, and an awesome owner that makes great recommendations. I'll be buying from them in the future at other events!

My girlfriend was kind enough to attempt to replace a disc I lost (not knowing much about disc golf) to surprise me and was told that she couldn't be helped bc she didn't know enough. After specifically saying she wanted an under table midrange similar to mine she was told she couldn't be helped bc there at too many discs in that category. And then preceded to get no further assistance. Not even a recommendation of some sort. My issue is not with not being able to get a disc like mine but the fact that she was told she "didn't know enough." Discouraging peoples knowledge about the game is not helpful in anyway. It wasn't too long ago when I went to the disc golf store asking a bunch of questions trying to figure out what I needed. She still managed to pick out 2 discs and support your business. I don't know why.

The don't have any public bathrooms which sucks but they usually have some port of potties but it's hit or miss if there unlocked or not. It appears to be connected to the school and indeed, this is where the children play during their recess. But it is a public park. Because it shares a parking lot with the school, there is tons of parking, making it an ideal park to have an outdoor party on a weekend. There is a small covered shelter with about 7-8 tables. The play structure is good, nothing super unique. There is a zip line but it has no platform for the kids to stand on, making it impossible for anyone under the height of 5'5" to grab the handle. My playground rule is...if you can't do it yourself, you shouldn't be doing it. Unfortunately this would rule out the zipline for most of my adult mom friends, lol. :) The autumn leaves were popping when we went, though the trees are still fairly small providing minimal shade in the high heat of summer. Overall, a nice park as long as you avoid coming during recess!

This company is awful. I repeatedly tried to get their…read moreattention for an install on a large playground build (budgeted around $10k). After multiple attempts someone did respond and they sent a guy out to survey and give an estimate. We told them our budget for the job and they agreed the price would be about $10k (we did our research and had their brochure so knew the cost upfront.) The guy said we'd have a written estimate in a few days, but told us what he thought it would cost with the options we had selected. They never sent an estimate. I again had to hound them to get back to me, on their own work estimate. They couldn't even be bothered to finish it I guess. Finally they did reply, with an apology about the delay. The estimate cost? $18k. What a joke of a company. I don't expect them to be around that long. So if you are interested in getting ripped off and ignored you better try and get their attention now.

Indigo and I were lucky enough to discover this park when friends invited us to a play date…read more This immaculate gem of a park is nestled in a subdivision and has walking paths, a volleyball net, basketball court, playground, plenty of grass, and a duck pond. There are bathrooms, water fountains, a small parking lot and picnic tables. I almost wish I lived in the subdivision just to have convenient and quick access! The best part about this park is the ducks who live there. There are many, they are not shy, and if you walk up with snacks in hand, prepare to be surrounded! Please be advised if you have small kiddos, there is a duck pond and an irrigation canal/stream that runs along the back of the park. Indigo gives DeMeyer Park 50 stars for those creatures that go quack!

This review is for the daycare…read more We just pulled our child out of daycare here. He came home one day and told us about an incident he had with another student. The incident itself is the kind of thing that happens at any school or daycare; However, how he described the response to the incident from his teacher was concerning to us. Additionally, this was in the context of other concerning statements (made to our child and to us) by a couple of different teachers at Wings. I reached out to the director, Athena Schmitz, who promised to discuss the specific incident with the teacher and our general concerns with all of the teachers. She promised to follow-up with me via a phone call. We received a very vague apology via a message from the teacher without explanation for the incident or her response. It is now about a month later and I never received a call from Athena as was promised. It's disappointing that our concerns were not important enough to her for her to follow through on. Beyond this, overall we noticed a big change in our child's enthusiasm for the Wings Center. At first he loved it. He enjoyed his teacher and planet kid (their big playground). Recently he hasn't wanted to go. When we asked if he wanted to keep going there or find a different school he very consistently expressed he did not want to go to Wings anymore. My gut feeling is that he's had other negative experiences there that he hasn't told us about. There are plenty of great daycares in the area. If you are looking for something similar to Wings, we checked out Bodies in Motion and were impressed. They also have a big indoor playground and the ratio of students to teachers there is more appropriate (it costs a little more but you get what you pay for). Ultimately, when it comes to daycare, the peace of mind from knowing that our child is being treated well and cared for is the most important factor for us. If your experience is like ours, you won't get that from Wings. I recommend against Wings Center for child care.

The worse place to send your child. Unqualified persons taking care of your children. They all lie…read more Their stories never match up with one another. Worse administrator ever you can't talk to her she runs and hides she's a coward. One teacher told my child to shut up for the rest of the day. I went to pick up my daughter in the middle of the day all the lights were out in the whole building it was dark I don't know where all the children were. If you want your child to have low self-esteem and doubts about their character just send them to the wing center..it's dirty and it smells.
