I immediately brought my laptop back to Bhosted expecting my battery was on the shelf somewhere. Instead, they INSISTED someone else had been "in my computer" and "removed my battery". That is absurd!! No one was "in my computer"! Bhosted lost my battery, will not take responsibility, and refuse to replace it !! WARNING - DO NOT USE THEM! From Jesse's diagnosis, it was clear the wisest thing to do would be buy a new computer. I bought an Apple refurbished Macbook and he was able to load the older OS version (don't want any AI), advise me on email and iCloud as well as a bunch of other things. I say it isn't ready, but we don't know since he will not respond to calls or texts. He did fix my phone screen and the turn around was fast; however, the work on 2 laptops belonging to my husband hasn't worked out so well. We know he has been sick; however, we would just appreciate an acknowledgement that he still has one of our laptops and the charges have already been paid. He required full payment up front, so that is what we did. The work he did on my husband's first laptop cannot be "recognized" by the laptop, so $250 down the drain. Now we don't know the status of the second one he has had since January, but we paid $150 up front. Thus, the one star rating.

Thought it was odd, but my son didn't mind so whatever. Fast forward a month or two and the phone completely stops turning on. I have a professional background in repairing Apple devices so I decided to just fix it myself when I got the time. Well, I finally got a chance to open it up and as soon as I did, two tiny screws fell out. I assume those go to the home button assembly, as the assembly and home button are completely loose and the only thing holding that in is the frame of the phone. Less important but still notable - the frame was also missing one of the bottom screws. Upon further inspection, the battery cable was not completely attached which explains why it wouldn't turn on at all. It was also missing the plate that goes over the battery cable. I reconnected the battery completely and was able to get it to boot up but now it's stuck in a boot loop. I have never seen such sloppy work and can't believe they thought it appropriate to charge for such work. I feel extremely ripped off.

John is a genius…read more The hard drive in my first generation MacBook Air died. I took it to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store and those "geniuses" told me there was nothing they could do. My computer was to old and they would no longer support it. If it was a newer generation they could replace the drive, for about $350. Well, John had no such problems. A few days later and for less than $200 I had my MacBook back and with a new solid state drive. Not only didn't I have to buy a new computer, but with an SSD in place of the old hard drive it was booting up faster and running smother than ever. Thanks Computer Guy!
