They have pools for them and a large sand pit for digging. There is a very large backyard with a high fence and they are NEVER caged. They sleep on the furniture like the kings and queens they are. I am so thankful I found them. April is so wonderful with the dogs and Emma took to her immediately (she was a shy puppy). I can not say enough good things about them...THE BEST!!! And Emma agrees, especially about the homemade treats that are always on hand!!

I love that early start option !! Penny has been overnight boarded as well and we have never had a single issue !! Highly recommend ! Penny stays allllll day !! 6:30 am till almost 8 pm. Wouldn't have it any other way. The next day she is exhausted and rightfully so !! Our 70 lb "baby" has a ton of energy and walks 4 miles a day most days. I felt like I was always stuck at square one introducing myself and my pets to new doctors and vet techs. Going to Middletown is like a night and day experience! You and your pets are always treated like family. The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeble from the front desk, to the vet techs, to the doctors.The doctors and techs are always very clear and honest about what they're doing and giving you all of the information. You never feel like they're just running random tests or giving unnecessary vaccines just to run up your bill. During your appointment they spend time with you, ask questions, listen to your stories, share their own stories; you never feel like you're being rushed in or out of your appointment. They really take the time to get to know you and your animals and make sure you are comfortable and happy with the care you're getting. The front desk is great about sending reminders when its time to make an appointment and I've never had trouble getting in quickly for an appointment. They send me happy birthday emails with coupons for all of my animals on their birthdays and a thank you note after you visit them. It may seem like such small things but those personal touches are just part of what makes Middletown feel like family. The classic boarding and luxury boarding areas are clean and everything is set up to make the dogs so comfortable. We frequently bring him for daycare so he can get out all his energy. He was so nervous the first couple of visits but he quickly warmed up to all the staff. They are all so nice and always remember my dog! All I know is he comes home exhausted so mission accomplished! We've boarded him several times ranging from 3 to 5 days so far. There's always someone there with them overnight and they make sure to note any special instructions with food and/or medicines when you drop off. I'll always prefer to have my dog with me, but when he can't come with us, I trust everyone at Purr n Pooch to take good care of him.

I then explained that the day care closest to my home does not have cameras which is why I was interested in their day care. She immediately said well we dont have cameras either. I was confused because i just read on their website , verbatim " we have closed circuit video monitoring" . She said well we have very high end clients and there was a lot of theft here so those cameras are for that . I told them their website is very misleading . They could of course care less. Griffin subsequently passed away this past May from an unrelated problem, when she found out Jill called us to offer her condolences.
