Mix plate (shish taouk and shawarma)

The best fast food Lebanese place you can find in West Island of Montreal. Definitely better than Amir or Basha. Their meat is more seasoned and taste better, their sauce has more flavor. Even the salad taste special. If you ask for a take out, the amount they give you is pretty generous. Personally it gives me 2 separate meals during my shift. Very filling.

Revisited this location after almost a year and my visit was just ok. The location seems to be under new management as the entire staff as well as some of the menu has changed. The restaurant itself also has been through some renovations. They now offer the thin saj bread as an option, so figured I'd give it a try. I went with the saj chicken shawarma plate. It seems to be copied right off of the menu of Shawarmaz but that is where the similarities end. The result was dry and bland, even the presentation was boring. The entire staff seemed confused as to what the new options came with and how to prepare the new items, and kept referring back to what I can only guess might have been the owner. All in all it was a disappointing visit, I don't think I'll be back but if I did I would stick to what Boustan does best like the creation pita.

Boustan offers new vegan options since Aug 2020. I love their vegan kebab pita and garlic sauce. The vegan kebab is made of shiitake mushrooms and has a great chewy texture. Portions are generous and filling. Service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend Boustan for a quick meal with omnivore friends.

Absolute best food for the buck in Montreal, if you haven't tried Boustan yet then waddle on over there and give it a try...you will not be disappointed.

The food is definitely consistent with the downtown locations; good tasting and affordable. The service is slow, maybe because still working out the kinks since it just opened on August 17, but really worth the wait. The chicken shawarma (aka shish taouk at a competitor's) is delicious. Instead of using lettuce, they dress the pita sandwhich with coleslaw. You can even ask to put some roasted potatoes in the sandwhich. What makes this place so good is that they roast your sandwhich on a grill, giving it the crisp that they're known for. I've now graduated to ordering The Creation. It's pretty much a chicken shawarma overdosed on crack - it's all dressed including eggplants, hot sauce, and much much more! What I love about the garlic sauce at this place is that it's light - not overly pungent - and you can still have a conversation with a close-talker after the meal ;D! If this is going to be your first Lebanese food experience eating a chicken shawarma, then be warned, you've already set the bar high. ** Not sure if they're going to end up stocking up but when I was there on opening night, napkins were scarce... You might want to bring extra napkin because of the grease from The Creation.

Garlic potatoes with sauce on top, grab a fork now!

Often understaffed which leads to poor customer service. Food relatively good. Not as good as original location.

A great addition to the West Island. A different (better) take on the flavours you would get at Amir's.

Ever since they opened in West Island I have been quite regular to this place and kind of addicted to the food.

Needless to say I was extremely impressed with the quality of the food and the service that I received. We ordered a variety of Lebanese food from Meat Kebbeh, Yogurt with Cucumber, to Hummus. Everything was fresh and my colleagues ended up eating seconds and thirds. If you are catering for a large group, I recommend ordering a variety of foods as they taste even better when paired together. My personal favourite (as funny as it may sound) was the garlic dip. Wow was it amazing - compared to some of the other Middle Eastern restaurants that I always go to this dip blew them out of the water. Everything was extremely reasonably priced and I was able to save my wallet when it was anticipating a rough Christmas and New Years season! The delivery was insanely prompt, I ended up receiving all the dishes right before the party started. Keep in mind this was during a snow storm when even pizza delivery companies were fretting about their on-time guarantee. Overall if you are looking for a good and reasonably priced caterer to offer some delicious Lebanese food for your event, definitely give Kitchen 59 a try.

The ordering process was very easy. Antoine (the owner) walked us through the menu and was extremely flexible with all the options and variations we wanted. We then placed our order and picked it up from the pickup location. Food presentation: the food was extremely well packed and secured within the containers so we were not worried about transportation. The presentation itself was amazing (as you can see from the pictures). My guests found them extremely professional (FYI I requested the aluminum containers for easier handling and disposing) The taste: IT WAS DELICIOUS. Everyone stopped having a conversation because the food was soooo good. The meat and chicken were so juicy, the garlic was extremely well balanced, perfect taste with very little after taste or bad breath. The rice was cooked to perfection and the salad dressing was very good. My guests were fighting to take leftovers! Overall this catering service is: Taste: 10/10 Price:10/10 Location: 8/10 Friendliness and ease of service: 10/10 Would highly recommend. Already placed our order for the next dinner I am having!

Upon entering the restaurant, I'm instantly reminded of the late nights waiting at a halal cart in nyc after a night out. This restaurant itself is not the cleanest and rather chaotic on weekend nights. Theres usually a long line to order, but it moves rather quickly and efficiently. The staff members aren't the friendliest, but they get the job done LOL. You'll find a bunch of hungry and probably drunk people sitting at the cafeteria styled seats at night. The food is the main selling point here though. I've gotten the mixed platter and shawarma platter; both with generous servings of protein all doused in a flavorful sauce. Ordered the poutine recently and was also impressed how much they loaded the protein. It was a little on the saltier side and wished they had more cheese curds, but still pretty enjoyable. The fries were also more like small potato wedges. I've recommended this place countless times for almost any point of the day, but they especially hit the spot after a long night.
