A surgery date was scheduled, all pre-op testing was completed, and we proceeded believing authorization was being properly handled. Over multiple days, we received completely conflicting information regarding whether: * authorization was submitted, * authorization was denied, * a letter of medical necessity was sent, * and whether surgery was officially happening. At one point, the surgery was put back on the schedule, the hospital called to confirm arrival instructions, and shortly afterward we were called again and told the surgery was canceled. Meanwhile, Blue Cross Blue Shield provided information that directly conflicted with what we were being told by the office. The biggest issue was not just the cancellation itself -- it was the repeated reversals, poor communication, lack of transparency, and emotional toll while dealing with severe ongoing pain. Patients deserve clear and accurate communication, especially when major surgery is involved.

After the pap she started to remove my gown from my top half without explaining what she was doing, and also started the pelvic exam without warning or checking in with me. I found the pelvic exam to be very uncomfortable and even a little painful and I felt that she was being very rushed and rough with me. Her bedside manner was not very good and to me she came off as unfriendly. Overall, it was an unpleasant first gyno experience and I will certainly not be seeing Dr. Baker again. The front desk staff were friendly but I really couldn't leave fast enough.

Some of the front desk staff has an attitude if you ask them to do anything, no matter how simple (example: Me: can I have a receipt for my copayment? Staff expresses astonishment: I have NEVER heard anyone ask for that. I don't know how to do that). They also get snitty if you don't do mobile check-in on your phone in advance. Front desk staff will refuse to check you in -- you have to do it yourself. No virtual appointments and doctors do not answer messages themselves, so if you have a question, you'll need to make an in person appointment; see above for wait times. Doctor I saw was rushed, disinterested, and had terrible bedside manner.

I came here following Yelp advice. I got to say I was…read moredisappointed. Here is why: 1. The doctor spent a total of 5 minutes in the room with me. I felt like she was in a rush to go somewhere else. I felt like she was judgmental when I answered some of her questions and she scolded me. I do not go to the OBGYN to be patronized. I also felt like she refused to answer some of my questions. 2. My pap test was sent to a lab that was not in network with my insurance company resulting in me having to pay for a test that should be covered 100% . I am still fighting this with my insurance company and hope for a good outcome. However, I had NEVER had another doctor send my tests to a lab that is not covered by my insurance and I have had the same insurance for years. If the doctor is taking my insurance, shouldn't she make sure to send the tests to a similar facility? I was never asked if I had any preference on the lab handling my tests. 3. My prescription was incorrectly sent to my pharmacy. This would not be a big deal but my pharmacy is kind of retarded (Express Scripts) and sent the incorrect prescription to me immediately without me having the chance to verify it. The incorrect dosage caused me to end up paying 3 times as much for my medication. In order to correct it, I had to call the doctor's office 2 times to ask them to re submit the prescription. The first lady that I talked to was really mean and refused to send the prescription to me directly, it was not until I called again one week later and talked to someone else that my problem was resolved. Still, I did not need to wait two weeks and spend time making calls back and forth between pharmacy and doctor's office. 4. No parking Validation, I would assume that the office would have some kind of deal with the building but no, 6 dollar parking every time I don't think I am going back to this practice next year. I have had much better experiences elsewhere and I am tempted to make the trip back to Virginia to see my old doctor next year.

A Jujunostomy which is considered a major operation by Brigham and Women's Hospital. He made the mistake of calling me with his own private cell phone. I save many numbers in my contacts, even my former Thoracic Surgeon that this guy could never match up to. l text my former Thoracic Surgeon often. One night it came to me if l can send a text to lsrael l can send one to this so called doctor. I did, let him know what exactly l thought of him. One thing that l said was to retire which is long overdue before he kills someone on the operating table. He's losing his memory, asked me if he made my incision which had twenty Metal Staples. Right before that he wanted to discuss politics since the presidential election was going on at the time. I told him that I didn't come 120 miles to discuss that plus telling me who to vote for. So maybe he conveniently forgot that he operated on me since I didn't agree with his political views. When I asked for another doctor they told me that had gone through a few of them which was no fault of mine. This disturbed doctor really believed that he was Chief Of that Thoracic Clinic. He is but at another hospital in RI, Kent hospital from what l was told. He is the worse of the worst. So if you want to live stay away from this guy. I wouldn't send anyone that I care for to him. As for this picture of him it isn't recent. I saw him in 2018, when he walked into my examining room l couldn't believe how old he looked. It was like ten years have gone by.
