There is a moon crater, a moon worm, rockets, a space ship etc. Boo loved the mini rockets and the music making areas. The place is spotless and very well maintained - and lots to entertain for hours! There is an area at the back that has some information and learning areas about plants. Try pushing the button on the rocket! All in all we had a ball here and wish this was near our house as boo loved it! Check out the pictures to see her smiling face! That is shattered a little when you see the boarded up hole where the slide used to be but other than that it's a pretty well kept playground. It's sponsored by mitre ten and the whole thing is wooden. I was really impressed by the safety of the whole thing and all the hidden nooks and crannies under the built part. There is a cutout section where you can pose like you are driving a big freight liner and a train you can pretend to drive. They do have a Liberty swing here too for children in wheelchairs which is an awesome idea. Highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area with kidlets.

But great for fam picnics and social thingies. Whether you want to come here to work out, with the amazing walking tracks with low impact asphalt and gravel, or enjoy the breath-taking beauty for a picnic or BBQ... This place will change your life. A true escape from everyday corporate life and post-industrial alienation. It simply makes people happy. People say hi and seem relaxed here. I am lucky enough to live within walking distance to here again (and yes, I moved to my current address FOR this park) - and, for those of us who value more than money, shopping centres and the fake, this place is revolutionary. Lately I have been enjoying a little running here and there. I have begun to like this place after…read moregoing there many times. Firstly its this quiet place where you get to meet the Kangaroos, joeys, echidna and some native birds on their own. The cycling, walking, horse riding and a few 4WD's roads (no sure if they are allowed however but you do see the tracks) are all unpaved roads. So just for a precaution take some good shoes that will withstand those kinds of environments. As for the crowds. People tend to be mostly chilling on the side of the lake where there are chairs and some grassland. Some times a few people here and there will also be running or cycling around the tracks but most of the times you are just on your own. There are no sipping water along the miles of those tracks so make sure you either drink enough water that will last you for at least an hour or take some water with yourself. Just don't give up. You'll finish those lines and at the end the feelings are just great.
