    Delicious Potato Skins
    Lori R.

A lot of airports know you're trapped so they cheap out on things but charge an arm and a leg. Not here. Our Bartender gave outstanding friendly service. Bar stools super comfortable. There are plenty of tables too. Great bourbon and wine selection which made both of us happy. Save 25% on liquor doubles. Food menu has a really nice variety. Wish I was hungrier cause the vegetable plate sounded terrific. We shared some delicious hearty potato skins. Very nice! We were glad we came to the airport early to enjoy a last hurrah before flying home.

Airport restaurant with a great selection of bourbons. Didn't eat but menu looks good and there is a great selection of bourbons. Had to have one final flight before our flight! Typically airport restaurant vibe with people stopping in for a quick bite and drink before heading to their gate. Kathina our server was awesome and supper friendly. Solid spot to hang out before me your flight.

Located inside the Lexington airport, this place is a 'departure' (sorry...had to) from the usual bars and fast food joints that travelers are typically subjected to in airports across the US. Bourbon Library is run and managed by a couple of energetic guys who juggle the kitchen, the bar and serve all the patrons. They have a great menu focused on nice salads and sandwiches, have an entire menu of bourbons, and are themselves foodies, ready to make suggestions for a bourbon to go with your meal or budget or both. On our way out of KY, we had a couple hours layover in the Lexington airport and decided to spend it at BL. I ordered the blackened romain salad with bacon and blue cheese, with grilled chicken, and it was great! A good value, a good portion and nice flavors. And most importantly, when you are about to spend several hours in a plane, not too heavy. I am serious when I say this: one of the top 5 in-airport food experiences I've had in all my travels around the world. Worth your time and your $$!

Gluten Free chicken tenders and potato skins.

Who knew a little restaurant in the Lexington airport was a gluten free treasure? I heard through the grapevine that this place offered GF and I travel often but always at times I can't sit down to eat. Thankfully that changed today and I was able to sit down and have dinner before a flight. I spoke with a co-owner (the husband of the duo) and he said his wife, and main owner, has celiac disease and makes sure people have a safe place to eat in the airport. As we all know, airports really need to step it up. I ended up having chicken tenders and potato skins. They were delicious. Service was great and it was soooo nice to have a meal before getting on a flight! I highly suggest this spot and wish every airport had one!

Nice place to relax waiting for our flight. It is a restaurant will a full bar if you want that. They have a screen with departure updates which was nice. Our server Denies was very nice and attentive and went the extra mile to make sure i could have a cup of decaf coffee The veggie omelette was perfect with a side of potatoes and biscuits. Not a fan of the french toast, a bit soggy. Great place to relax waiting to fly out

    Chicken tenders with honey mustard

Such a cute little bar & restaurant inside the Lexington airport! There is ample bar seating as well as additional tables to choose from. The menu also had great selections of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and more. I really wanted to try one of their delicious-sounding burgers but with hours of traveling ahead of me I opted for something a bit lighter. I got their chicken tenders with honey mustard, and they looked delicious & tasted great! A nice breading and good honey mustard to dip in. I also got a mimosa which was good, obviously! I was surprised that my total really wasn't too bad for an airport restaurant (I'm used to those LAX prices!). I'll definitely stop and eat here again next time I come into town!

    Pulled pork plate

I stopped in before my flight to grab some dinner. I ordered the pulled pork plate and it was delicious! Pulled pork was a hit! It was moist, not too saucy, it was done just right. Fries were crispy too. Cornbread was good with the butter that was included on the plate. The memah's slaw was really good and not over complicated like some other cole slaws. Not a bad dish at all. It wasn't too busy when I first sat down, but quickly filled up as I was leaving. It has decent seating, good spacing, and full bar. It seemed like my server was one of two people working the restaurant, the other being the bartender. But she kept her cool and didn't seemed phased by how busy it got. Food came out about 10 mins after I ordered. If ever I come back to Lexington airport, I'll be sure to stop in again.

I had a delicious burger and fries here as I waited for my flight. The service is excellent. The waiters are attentive. The restaurant has nice decor and it's clean.

    Great bourbon selection!

Great place to grab a bite to eat and of course a drink! Great selection of bourbon and the bartender Matt was OUTSTANDING! Fast friendly service you hope for in Kentucky and he delivered!!

One of the best airport restaurants/bars I've ever been to! They have a massive bourbon menu and I've had friends tell me they've done great bourbon tastings here. I'm not a huge bourbon fan, but still got a cocktail made with bourbon since Kentucky is so well known for their bourbon! I got the 1776 Mule which was very good even with the bourbon instead of vodka which I wasn't sure if I would like. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and was really pleased with the quality of my food for it being in an airport. Some friends got a couple of appetizers and the small bites I tried were tasty. Prices were even decent, too! Our server Jay was so attentive, helpful, and had great food/drink recommendations when we asked questions. He even asked at the start of the meal if we wanted to split the checks which was so nice since we had a larger group. Plus he brought out our bills when he brought the food out because he could tell the restaurant was getting busy and he didn't want us to have to wait if he got tied up elsewhere. I'm not sure if I'll ever be back in this airport, but I would certainly come back here again if I am!

The Bacon Cheese Burger was by far the best I have ever had at an airport and in the top 90% outside an airport. Completely shocked at how good it was!! The bourbon selection does not disappoint at all (as to be expected by the name but you never know!) Dean was extremely nice, attentive, and upbeat!! I'd post a picture but I ate it way too quick!

My husband and I just needed a quick snack and a refreshing soda. We ordered two Pepsi's and the chicken tender appetizer. The chicken was surprisingly good and perfectly breaded, and it was gluten free, which didn't make it any less tasty. Service was quick. I would stop by here again next time at the Lexington Airport.

The bartenders were both annoyed and cold. So many better bars in Frankfort with welcome attitude.

The food is also good and fairly pried for an airport. Since this is a Kentucky airport, they have a great bourbon selection. The also have Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, which happens to be my FAVORITE beer! Its a local brewery (Kentucky Ale) that will age the beer the bourbon barrels for several weeks. If you've never tried it - TRY IT! There are only two restaurant (and a Dunkin Donuts) in the airport, so its either this or Mexican. Food comes out quick and you can now get drinks (including alcohol) to go and drink in the terminal (can't take it on the plane).

It was and not too hoppy for my taste buds. I'd give the beer three out of five stars. The restaurant had a ton of seating which was good as I believe this is the only sit-down restaurant in this small airport. I saw some folks ordering food but I ate prior to being dropped off at the airport. The bartender was friendly and let me sample the beer before I purchased it. There was a television at the bar so I could watch the football game. There was also a power plug right below the bar in front of my seat. This was a nice touch!

It's a small store but it's packed with some pretty cool stuff. I was impressed that none of the bottles, and there were many, or shelves had any dust. A very clean store! Primarily you will find Kentucky bourbon. Thomas was very helpful and friendly. I told him I wasn't a bourbon fan but I wanted to try something different. He pointed me to the Wild Turkey honey flavor, $15.99. I put it on the rocks and added a little lemon juice and it was pretty tasty. I also purchased the Preachers Truffles, four for $10. Yes, expensive, but well worth the money! I've already checked online to see how I can order more LOL. These truffles were made from the bourbon that seeps into the barrel while aging. They extract the bourbon and use it to make these absolutely divine chocolate delights. You can also find wine openers and bottle stoppers. If you are looking for KY items, there were coasters and books. Stop by and I bet you will find a treasure to take home.

I did buy a bottle of Lexington Bourbon to get things started! Since I've collected all eight horse stoppers, upon my departure, I bought the Blantons horseshoe glorifier & bottle for the middle of the ingredients that it takes to make bourbon. I also found a super cute red gem wine purse holder for the table or bar & some cute jockey/horse wine charms. Love this airport & store! They also have a bourbon tasting at there other location.
