We had a Mercury motor bulletin service issue to address, and our boat is moored in Anacortes while we live out of town. North Harbor Diesel was by far the most responsive of all the qualified service providers we contacted. We left our keys with them, and once the parts arrived, they promptly took action and handled everything: moved the boat, hauled it out, completed the service, and returned it to our slip on the same day and stayed communicative the whole process. They did it all with a high level of professionalism that stands out. Highly recommend!

They seemed professional and knowledgeable ( although a little expensive). They changed the oil and replaced the impeller on the genset and gave it a good look over. The bill was high but it was the first time we used them so we figured we are getting what we paid for. We fired up the generator and within 5 minutes the cooling water stopped coming out. We called them and they came over. They found the impeller had lost all but 2 vanes. Nothing was in the strainer or in the lines indicating a foreign body had gotten in. The mechanic said that sometimes you just get a bad impeller and he would replace it. He ordered a new one and replaced it.. all was good after that. Then they hit us with a bill in excess of 400 dollars for the replacement. No discount was applied, no warranty on the part or anything. They charged us a standard service call and parts. Stay away from these guys. They dont stand behind anything they do and charge you, even if their product is defective.
