Walk-ins are welcome so although I tend to keep the same schedule, I can come at any time and expect fast service. The actual corrections take about 5 minutes so it's the fastest important thing on my calendar. The office itself is clean and pleasant to visit. I then lived my life for 45 years, with curves stable at 41 degrees each, no brace, no daily pain. No one told me that when I hit menopause, my scoliosis would start to get worse. I could see my body changing, could feel the lumbar spine compressing and bowing out, and could see that my upper left back now had a hump. I was lucky enough to find the Scoliosis Center of Utah in Midvale. Dr. Dean explained exactly why my body started changing after years of holding its shape. We took many images. I started treatment with the scoliosis wedge, which was intense but miraculous. With a distressing outlook of my curves increasing by about 6 percent every year, and knowing this would mean I would be quite deformed in under 5 years, I opted for a modern scoliosis brace. It was the perfect solution for me. I am now straighter. I have lost my left-side hump, and my posture out of the brace is perfect. My scoliosis, to my great surprise, is barely noticeable by other people. Remember that I had a hump on my upper back. I have been wearing the brace for less than a month, and I already have these major benefits. The brace is doing miraculous things for me. Dr. Dean and Megan are both friendly, caring people. I read a review that says otherwise, and I honestly don't know what went wrong there. I had exceptionally good experiences with this practice. I am thrilled with my outcomes so far. My experiences were pretty much the opposite of what was written in that other review. I was a registered dietitian nutritionist before I retired. I feel I am a good judge of practitioner performance. I am a full-time nomadic RV traveler, and I chose this office because I can pass by during my travels and do follow-ups as needed for the rest of my life. I can say with confidence that I really loved finding this practice after my curves started growing again. My son had a very strange reaction to the ketamine on his last appointment. It was just not set up like a professional clinic. Dr. Himstree, still, I liked and was very knowledgeable about what he was doing just the set up not good. We never went back until recently when I called inquiring to start my son back up again. Had several different calls over there in the last 3 days. Someone different every time. Deborah was the worst. Very rude, unprofessional and would constantly talk over you when you were in the middle of telling her some thing. This morning I asked a simple question, "do family members get a discount for having a family member as a vet?" She replied "are they the one coming in to the clinic?!" I told her no but I thought I was told the day before by someone else that a family member could get a discount if a close family member was a vet. She said "NOBODY TOLD YOU THAT!!" I snapped back that "someone certainly did, do you think I just pulled it our of thin air??" she said it again, said the same thing! This lady is off her rocker! I said "I have to go" in which SHE hung up on me. I have NEVER talked to anyone whose scheduling clients, (and mind you, for a type of treatment clinic like this is... people who are calling to get help with severe anxiety and depression etc; )are being treated this way??? I spoke with a woman with an accent as well a few days ago that took 5 tries to just get my email right. It was exhausting trying to even have a conversation with her. When I asked Michelle the NP about the urine testing that they do as we've never had to do that before and in calling around this is not some thing most of these clinics do unless during intake the doctor feels suspicious about the person and feels a need to. I spoke with 6 clinics today, highly rated that said that don't do this. I told her the clinic my daughter has been going to for a year has never done this. She said "aren't you worried!" NOPE! Michelle was very defensive right from the getgo, instead of asking questions and even trying to understand I'm not! as this is not normal practice. unless you have a druggy looking person walking through the door(you can usually tell, it's obvious). But that unprofessional comment back and rudeness of these people. I will NEVER EVER go back there. PLEASE LOOK AT THEIR REVIEWS. PEOPLE ARE SAYING THE SAME THING! The Deborah lady who is the receptionist is a real piece of work and needs to be gone. She is not helping this business. Thank God we saw who these people working there were for who they are. My son who was going to get treated was sitting by me when I was talking with Deborah and when I hung up said "it doesn't sound like a very nice place mom, I don't want to go and I'm not giving them a urine sample like I'm getting drug tested, this is weird". We are going to another clinic that is almost half the price!! And so kind and compassionate. I like Dr. Himstree and hope he can get this group figured out working there. These are people that will clean your teeth or fill a cavity and put fake braces on your teeth. The price that was quoted to me was $3,900 but I believe you can get it done much cheaper at other places.

The doctor promised a whole-person assessment, including bloodwork, labs, and brain scans (EEG), which he said would be used to create a personalized treatment plan. None of this ever happened. Most of the labs were never ordered. The promised follow-up sessions to review results and build a plan never occurred. My son was vulnerable, honest, and upfront. He disclosed things that were clear contraindications--something that should have been carefully considered. Yet, the doctor pushed him to begin intensive ITMS brain treatments the very next day, without any labs conducted, results, or further assessment or a specific plan in place. After only a few sessions, my son had a severe reaction that should have stopped treatment, Yet,  No pause. No reassessment. No care. Over the course of 20 treatments (twice a day, five days a week), the doctor has promised to meet with him twice to evaluate progress during the first 20 treatments. He met with him one time and it was brief and nothing changed. At the end of the $6,100 charge for 20 treatments , they pushed a $5,000 "monthly special"--another 20 sessions--with the same vague promise that more is better. My son spent over $11,000 and still never received a treatment plan, lab results, or a meaningful conversation with the doctor. This wasn't healing. It was harmful. My son's symptoms worsened, and the doctor was virtually absent. This clinic is a textbook example of negligence. The promises made were never fulfilled, the assessments were never completed, and the care was non-existent. These providers are dangerous
