Such a lovely spot. Friendly staff always. Chirpy. Happy. Ready with a smile. Great box of tasty treats on display and they always more than happy to tell you what each sweet snack is even though they must do it hundreds of times a day. The baked goods are the best in town. Cooked with real fresh ingredients. The coffees and steamers are fantastic too. Everything here seems to be done consciously - in a good way. It seems like a small family run spot which could explain the esoteric opening hours. They need their breaks when they can get them. Two women behind the counter STILL WEARING MASKS (!!!) make this 3 star review generous considering the ridiculousness of anyone still believing the masks are good for you. Beyond that, the only other complaint is the sad decor that makes me feel like I'm in a hastily put together AirBnB. Thank goodness the patio has plenty of room to flee said decor. Location: it's proximity to the square make it a fun convenient walk from a lot of places. The flavors they offer are fantastic and creative. The vegan options are tasty. read more

I'm glad Bill H who thought he was dissing the place reported they are still wearing masks. Hurray! There is a covid surge right now and I personally am glad when people are doing small things like wearing a mask that do not hurt anyone but do protect us all. If you are immunocompromised or have relatives who are cancer survivors (as I do) you will be grateful that despite the anti-mask silliness and know-nothing ignorance in the right-wing parts of the state, these people still care about public health. Beyond that, the bakery is a wondrous thing, with beautiful food using top quality ingredients. It is creative and lovely. I am so happy it exists. Thank you! read more

Went two times, to give them a chance to make up for the boo boo the 1st time. 1st time I was running to work and I got there 5 minutes before they opened and I couldn't afford to be late for work but I wanted to bring a 1/2 a dozen croissants and other pastries for the workers, the lady would not serve me because it was too urgent to get juice bottles in the refrigerator. So I had to leave.. So many good choices for coffee nearby that I haven't had their, "cuppa." But I can speak to the fresh bagels and pastries that are turned out every morning. Delicious, original and not heavily baked with sugar. I cannot do it justice in this description. The environment is is wonderful; previously a dentist office in an old house. Funkadelic. One of the side rooms has games and toys for the kiddos to entertain themselves with. There looks to be an original dining room with said table and chairs with comfy chairs in the corners. I always see people "connecting," in there. I always have to give myself enough time to slow down in there because there is always the inquiry of "what are you up today?" with the owner. Conversation ensues. Highly recommend if you want to treat yourself or meet a friend over coffee and a bagel. Wonderful! read more

An overall adorable bakery. Very small and cramped, limited parking, but the pastries are the best. They are super adorable and look professional. The lady who was working payment was super nice. Like she was having conversations with us and joking around and overall it's an adorable place, the only reason I marked it 3 stars is because of the limited parking and space in the bakery.
