Went for first time in four years today and luckily not too many customers. The shop assistants probably outnumbered paying customers, but they were all so helpful and obliging, everyone we met showed tremendous knowledge of the items in the store and ideas. We could have stayed there for hours. The cafe is just that, a standard snack serving cafe, nothing outstanding but the service was exceptional. But the greatest benefit is the massive selection of women's and men's clothes, from the ordinary to top quality. Something for everyone. It might have been an 80mile round journey, but worth it and we will go again before Christmas to get a few more bargains. read more

This one goes out to all the senior citizens... boy, I get cooler by the day :P Be warned this place can be terrifying. It's so big when you enter that you can't even see the far walls beyond the vast sea of clothing stands in front of you, all arranged in a grid that forces you to move pac-man style through the aisles whilst dodging slow-moving pensioners on all sides. I think it's my uber-cool little sister's idea of hell. Not exactly my idea of a good time, and I'm not about to suggest it should be yours! But they do have a huge range of middle-aged-to-elderly mens and womenswear, much of it from branded labels at outlet prices (think Austin Reed, Moss Bros, Jaeger, Hobbs etc), plus things like bed linen, books, perfumes and stationery. Whilst I may have turned 30, I haven't grannyfied my wardrobe just yet - I'm actually suggesting you earn some good grandkid brownie points by bringing your nan here to browse and bargain-hunt. Yes it'll be two hours of your life you won't get back but it's well organised, saves them the stresses of the big malls, and the pensioners love it (there's always plenty of them enjoying the cafe at the back!). As well as doing something nice out of the goodness of your heart, you might just strike it lucky as I did and find one of the handful of things in the store that someone under 40 might actually wear (and my little sis approved of!). In my case, a gorge Adrianna Papell work dress reduced from its £139 RRP to a £30 outlet bargain, that I'm proudly wearing to the office to combat the back-to-work blues today. Boom :) read more

Reviewing this place from me is like a vegan telling you how good the meat is in a butchers. I'm 30 and the goods on sale are aimed at old age pensioners. The layout, interior and experience feels 20 years old also. It is very outdated for the 21st century. What I can tell you is the place is massive. Bargains everywhere, it is amazing what they have on offer. The cookware department is a delight. Clothing has a large selection for both male and female. The cafe you can give a total miss, it is incredibly low quality, and the worst tasting coffee I have ever had (a cross of bovril and camp coffee). The store also features an M&S outlet and The Perfume Shop. Avoid when the sales are on if you do not have a discount sales invitation, you will queue for over an hour at the tills. read more

Boundary Mill is situated just off the motorway junction in Walsall. It is a vast, sprawling place, with clothes, some toiletries, homeware, underwear, books, a small M&S outlet and a cafe. Boundary Mill can become very crowded, so my recommendation would be to visit early in the day and to avoid weekends if you are able (particularly in December and January). All of the items it carries are discounted, some significantly; for example I bought a pair of trousers reduced from £50 to £5. On entering the store, there is a small selection of gift toiletries (Woods of Windsor and the like). To the right there is a separate area with lingerie, pjs and the like, next to the fitting rooms. Directly in front of you is a large expanse of discount clothing, some from lesser known brands, but also from Windsmoor, Precis and the like. Stock changes constantly, so this is not the place to come and browse then go away to think about it. If you like it, get your card out there and then. There is a good range of outdoor clothing, and a very reasonably priced selection of eveningwear, particularly in January when all the party wear is in the sale as well as having the usual discount. After the clothing section, there is a shoe store (Pavers), handbags and china, plus a small M&S outlet which stocks a reasonably large selection for its size (get your cheap undies here!). The cafe is fairly basic, but well worth a stop off. I ususually come here with my MIL, and by the time we reach the cafe, we are normally desperate for some caffeine. The queues to pay can be extensive, but there are plenty of little treats to browse while you are in the queue Staff are generally helpful, if a little hassled due to the volume of shoppers. read more

An amazing huge complex that I only visited last weekend. They have some amazing bargains across a massive range of clothing from party dresses to specialized outdoor clothes. The main downstairs area is vast and has mostly clothes and the outdoor clothing lines. Go up a level via lift and you'll find a great homewares dept with glassware, pottery and figurines. There is also a bargain books dept and a kitchen and art department. The cafe is quite basic but was pretty busy even for a late Sunday afternoon. Well yes it does cater more for us oldies, but don't knock it, you youngers have a huge choice of boutiques on the high streets we have great difficulty finding decent clothing ,without looking like mutton dressed up as lamb or a drag queen, so don't go changing this shop please. read more

its an ok place you just have to be there at the right time, you can get some great deals if you look in the right places, they have some good clothes, house stuff, bedroom stuff etc. nice place read more
