    I ordered a bouncer, 3 tables, and 18 chairs last week. They called to confirm on two different occasions, then sent a confirmation text yesterday. Now they cancel on me with less than 24 hours notice for their mistake. Try someone else!

Everything ranging from accessories, decorations, party supplies, pet costumes, door mats, animatronics. The list goes on and on. Prices are within range, but you can use their store 20% coupon and you can find it on their IG, or Facebook page and if register on their website.     I debated on whether to post this review, but I think it's important for consumer awareness:…read more THE INCIDENT On September 4, 2025, I visited the store to return merchandise in full accordance with the return policy. Instead of honoring the policy posted to each register and printed on the bottom of the receipt, I was denied a refund after the sales associate claimed that accessories were exempt from the policy. When I brought to her attention that this exemption was not written anywhere, I was belittled, humiliated, and intimidated but kept my cool because I could not believe what was happening. I called customer service to report the incident and received an apology and assurance that I would be contacted by someone further up the ladder. After a week of silence, I placed another call on September 11, 2025, and received a call back from a very helpful supervisor who agreed that the policy was violated and that my experience did not reflect store values. THE REMEDY The supervisor informed me that (1) a refund would be processed and (2) consideration of additional compensation that I requested would be made for the distress I experienced. I was emailed a prepaid return label and within the message it was noted that a request for additional compensation would be made on my behalf. Anticipating a response, I waited diligently but after another entire week of silence, I sent an email on September 18, 2025, thanking them for facilitating the return and asking if there was an update on the request. The next day, I received a "chipper" denial of additional compensation and in its place a discount code for 20 percent off one item and free shipping. On the website everyone is entitled to 20 percent off one item without having endured what I did. Why on earth would I put money into the pocket of a conglomerate that treated me so shabbily? FINAL THOUGHTS The debacle continues to leave me horrified and appalled. I will no longer be shopping at any Spirit Halloween Superstores or related company Spencer's Gifts. At the time of my original purchase, I asked about the return policy and was told that returns were accepted with receipt and merchandise in the same condition. No mention was made that accessories were an exemption to the rule. The arbitrary policy was based on the whim of a team member with an apparent grudge. To this day, I can't understand why I was treated with such hostility and why a good faith restitution was not given in light of the egregious behavior.
