We rented a bounce house, tables, and chairs from this company. On the website it stated a different price than the quote. When asked about the price difference they told me the prices were updated but the price on the website is still not accurate and I was charged a higher price. They also pick up the rental equipment earlier than other companies I've rented from in the past. They pick up at 8:00 when others pick up later in the evening. Otherwise, their staff that delivered the equipment were nice and fast to set everything up. read more

Absolutely Terrible. We ordered a bounce house,, and they arrived 4 hours early to drop it off. We weren't prepared for it coming that early, but made due. The guys setting up the bounce house had attitudes and were not very friendly. Bouncey was very old,, VERY dirty inside, and full of holes that were leaking air.. We don't have a very big yard, so we had to put the bounce house in the driveway, which blocked my car. Not a big deal, since I didn't have anywhere to go until after my son's birthday party was over. Well it turned into a big deal when they arrived over two hours late to pick it back up. I called after an hour if them being late, and they were very unapologetic, simply saying "they are stuck in traffic in Alpine, there's nothing we can do". That was utterly BS, checked the traffic report, roads were wide open. Would NEVER use this place again, and suggest you don't either. Yes, the kids had a ball in the bounce house, but that'd to be expected. What was not to be expected was the attitude of the staff, the nastiness of the bounce house, and being over two hours late. After years of using the same high quality, reliable bounce house company they sadly went out of business and we had to find someone new. Based on the yelp reviews I decided to give Bounce SD a try. What a mistake. They were scheduled to arrive at 9am. At 9:20 I called and Raul said the guy was "on his way". I asked for a more detailed arrival time since I had hoped to go pick up the cake after the bounce house arrived (best part of the day is seeing my kids go crazy when the bouncy arrives). Would I have time to go first? Nope, Raul said 15-20 minutes. The driver pulled up at 10am on the dot, a full hour late, AND I hadn't gotten the cake yet. Great. The delivery guy was mildly nice but never said a word about wandering up an hour late. Then during set-up he says our outlet is broken. After trying different outlets he and my husband discover that the pump is actually broken. Yep, the pump we need to inflate the bounce house is broken. No spare, no tools. Thank goodness my husband had the tools needed for a repair job. So now bounce house is up, we should be good to go right? Not even close. We let the kids lose and my older daughter comes out holding this big brown thing. It's a dried out cookie. I go inside to investigate and the thing is FILTHY. I don't mean a few blades of grass or even some crumbs. I mean dried food, smeared chocolate, clumps of hair, sticky goop I couldn't even identify, coins, dirt, even a wet moldy SOCK- no joke. We spent well over an hour on our hands and knees with a vacuum, rags, and windex trying to make the thing usable. In case you might think I'm just very picky, I took photos and will attach them if I can. At this point I called Raul to say "WHAT THE HECK?" He was very apologetic on the phone, saying his guy must have grabbed the wrong jumpy. He did not offer to send the guy back out to clean it, or to bring a replacement. He offered a discount upon pick-up. Fast forward to the evening. Pick-up was supposed to be any time AFTER 6pm (which we verified at drop-off). The guy shows up at 5:45. Only 15 minutes but many kids were still in the jumpy, had to yank them out with no warning. Then he says our discount is $30. Which means we paid $130 for a late, filthy, broken piece of equipment which we returned early, clean, and working. After all of this you are no doubt wondering why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. Here's what they got right: 1) They showed up. It might have been late, broken, and disgusting, but at least it showed up. And it was the correct bounce house that we ordered. 2) The delivery guy and Raul were always polite. 3) I made a mistake and missed that they don't take checks. The delivery guy said it was fine to give him the cash I had on hand and pay him the rest at pick-up which I appreciated, since going to the ATM at that moment would have made our morning even more rushed than it had already become. I'm glad that most the other Yelp reviewers had a positive experience but I will NEVER use this company again and would not recommend risking it to anyone else. This is the second year we are using Bounce SD, we used them twice last year for our girls' birthdays. We are always pleased with the Jumpers quality and cleanliness of the jumpers. There is a wide variety to choose from and if you can not find something, they are easy to talk to to try and locate what you are looking for or something similar. For my daughter's 1st birthday, I researched every bounce house company in San Diego and decided to go with Bounce SD based on the yelp reviews. I'm so glad I did! It was a great experience from the online booking process to the electronic signing of the contract, to the set-up / break-down, to the friendly customer service. Everything went smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased. Here's a brief explanation of my 5 star rating: 1) Raul was fantastic. Great to work with and very accommodating. I had called close to the pick up time if we could extend our use of the jumper a couple hours and offered to pay more, but he said it wouldn't be a problem and that it would be no additional cost. 2) The set-up guys showed up early and had the bounce house up and running in minutes. When they came back to break-down, they were efficient and even quite sweet to the kids who stood by watching fascinated as the bounce house was deflated. 3) Most importantly, the bounce house was clean, safe and well-constructed. There were no unpleasant surprises and I was glad for that because it's the last thing you want to deal with when you have so many other things to handle the day of a party. For the awesome customer service and quality jumper, I think the price was reasonable. I paid $150 for a 3-in-one combo jumper (bouncer, hoop, and enclosed slide). It was important to me that the slide was enclosed for the kids' added safety. I got a $10 off discount because the party location was in Chula Vista which is a nice incentive. I looked everywhere and Bounce SD had some of the best reviews on Yelp so we decided to use their service for our sons 9th birthday party. The order process was fairly good, there was a few hiccups in the on-line reservation process but Raul made sure to get it all right before the party. We rented the 5 in 1 bounce house with the monster truck banner, I highly recommend this one the boys loved it. The day of the party David came to setup and he was very friendly and informative, this was our first time renting a bounce house. David took the time to explain everything and give us suggestions on the best place to setup. Kudos to David for is amazing customer service skills :) The bounce house itself was just as described, very clean and a ton of fun. Jumper was supposed to arrive at 1045 am. At 1055 I called and talked to Raul. He said they were on there way? The delivery guy then called and said they were like 15 min away. They had to get gas???I mean seriously. Didn't they know they needed gas before coming to the event? They ended up by being 45 min late. They came right when my party was starting. Then when they put up the jump there was a giant size hole in the net as well as another smaller one. This is for a little kids party. The hole was so large that one of the Luda had her head through the hole!!!!!!! The delivery guy never mentioned anything to me about it. We had to figure it out on our own. Called Raul again!! And he said he was really "sorry" needless to say we had to find some string to close the hole so that none of the kids would go though. We won't be using in future read more

I usually read reviews for services and when they are OVER THE TOP positive Im a bit sceptical thinking its written by a relative or employee. In this case I am personally writing to give props to BounceSD. I called every local bouncey rental company a few weeks prior to my event and after speaking to Raul decided to give them a try. Let me say I think Raul works around the clock and if he was not available when I called somone answered the phone or if I left a message my call was returned promptly. I reserved a Toy Story or Sports theamed 3-1 combo, with the enclosed slide. My party was for a baby shower for my daughter with friends and family at Mast Park in Santee so I wanted to keep all the tiny attendees (kids) from scattering about. Im so smart!!!! Raul informed me that the one I wanted was unavailable by not fault of his so he upgraded me to the "Cars" jumpy at no extra charge. It was delivered a few minutes late but in plenty of time before my party was to begin. Tristan brought my Bounce House with no one to help and I could not believe he could handle it alone. He politely refused help form us and was so capable on his own. IMPRESSIVE!!! Nicest guy ever so I recommend reserving him also. When it came time to pick up the bouncy he was prompt and professional. Taking that huge bouncy down for anyone would be a huge challenge but for Tristan, it was super fast. I asked for a pick up time 30 minutes ahead of my scheduled time so as not to wait when all my guest were gone. IT WAS PERFECT TIMING. Lastly, the kids LOVED it and the adults too!! I Booked a large jump house online, received an invoice confirming date and time and amount due. I called today to see what their rules were on rainy days. I was told by the girl on the phone that I didn't have a reservation. I said I have the invoice, and gave her the invoice number. She said " we don't have invoices with those numbers, I said this is the invoice you emailed me", then she became extremely rude, saying no I didn't have a reservation and that the jump house C-222 is rented to someone else. instead of saying "I'm sorry for the mix up and can we possibly offer you one of our other jumpers that are available" she started to argue with me on the phone. I said "perhaps I need to write a review on yelps as I have never been so rudely talked to from a person in customer service". She said "you go right ahead" and HUNG UP on me! I tried to call back several times and it went to voicemail. Terrible service. The experience with this company was terrible. I reserved a month before party. I called the day before to confirm the time and place. I rented a huge 5 in 1 jumper two tables and 30 chairs. Our contract stated a 3 hour window for delivery & pickup before my 6 year old party start time. They were ONE hour+ late. I had no tables or chairs for the guests and no jumper for the kiddos. One after the party has started I called several times. Owner Raul apologized and said the driver was going to call me. I waited another 20 min to call back hoping they would keep their word. What a joke. I called again and this time the driver picked up. He said he was going to deliver mine before the other person. I said you had better since you are already an hour late! Party started at 11 not 12:15! Of course they were not a second late picking it up. A 4 hour party turned into a little over 2 hours because of these non professionals. Thanks for ruining my daughters party. All of our guests know never to use this place and i thought I would share my experience so you dont get burned by these guys! read more

I had a great experience renting from Bounce SD. I was able to select the bouncer we wanted online; it was great to see what the bouncer looked like online plus they gave a 3D tour of the bouncer. We ended up getting the Cars 3 in 1 combo which was a hit with all the kids. They loved the slide and basket ball hoop inside the bouncer but most importan to me, the bouncer was clean. The setup guys called asking if we'd like the bouncer delievered sooner and picked up at the time requested. Customer service was great and paying online was easy. We have used Bounce SD in the past and were satisfied with their service, and therefore, we used them again last weekend for our daughter's birthday. However, this time our experience with the company was absolutely negative. A few minutes right before 9:00 A.M., right before delivery time, they called and said they couldn't get into the warehouse to get the jumper and it will be delayed. About 2 hours later, a guy came and set it up in the back. I paid him and gave him a nice tip. When he was leaving, he said that he would be coming back at 6:00 P.M. to pick it up. When 6:00 P.M. came, no one showed up to pick up the jumper. We decided to give them a call and they said someone will be there. Two hours past, still no one showed up. Finally, close to 8:30 P.M., the same guy who set up in the morning rang our doorbell, which startled and woke up our kids!! He did not offer any explanation for the late pick up or even apologize for not being here on time! It took him about 20-25 minutes to pack the jumper. When I went to check to make sure he packed everything, I noticed that he left our gate wide open!! We are beyond disappointed and upset that he was being so unprofessional! He never even told us his name. I sure hope the company does a better job at training their employees! read more
