My 2 year old daughter fell through the seam onto the hard floor outside of the bounce house and hit her head very hard. I was incredibly disappointed with the facility. We booked a private room for two hours for my sons birthday party. We found we had to share the "private bounce room" for 30 minutes with another party. Then at the one hour mark, they closed the room for "cleaning" and we had to go into the large public room. Came back for the first time in a while and it was such a blast! And absolutely so clean and organized!! We got there when they opened and we have the whole place to ourselves for about 40 minutes on a Saturday!! We spent 3 hours there and the kids never got board!! $5 for 2 and under $9 for 2 and up! Do NOT have your party here- very disorganized operation and pricey I booked a party for my 6 year old 5 weeks in advance. I paid a deposit. I confirmed the week prior. I arrived 25 minutes before my party time and was told "we don't have a record of your reservation- you must have booked at our other location." I did not, and had the deposit receipt to prove it. That is the last thing you want to hear as a parent about to shell out a lot of money to make your kid happy on his birthday. There was a lot of tap dancing and shuffling and was told they could put us in a smaller room that didn't have access to the private bounce area (the only reason why we opted to have a party there). The entire operation seemed very disorganized. They got us into a room and I was given a half joking apology "Sorry I almost gave you heart attack, haha." I didn't find any of this funny. For anyone that decides to have a kid's birthday party at a venue like this you pay good money to NOT stress! This was the exact opposite. A different person came back and asked if we needed anything and I said "yes I'm tracking we're supposed to have food and drinks" the person seemed surprised. The food arrived an hour into the party. We ended up having access to the private bounce area but it was shared with another party going on (not what was promised to me when I booked). While I was cutting into the cake to give to the kids a worker showed up and said "Excuse me you have 20 minutes left." You couldn't have read the room a little and waited a few minutes to tell me that? I had the room cleared out in my allotted time. I went to the front desk to settle my balance. I expected a discount due to the mixup- or at the very least a genuine apology. They asked me to pay the full amount and said "you had your party, you got food, I can't give you a discount." They offered NOTHING to make it right- not even a decent apology. If they did anything to make this situation right I'd be leaving a very different review right now. Mixups happen, I get it- but do something to show you actually care about your customers and the service you're providing. Bad business. We had a blast at the bounce house! There is an area for the younger toddler ages kids! There are multiple bouncy houses with maxes and slides. Adults are allowed to accompany kids on the slides thankfully or I do not think my 2 year old would have enjoyed this place that much. They are open until 8 pm everyday except Sunday which is a huge plus in cold or bad weather. Pricing to get in is not much at all! You only pay for the kids and it's about $5.50. There were a ton of people, kids, and even a birthday party happening, but there was more than enough things to do and it was overcrowded. The only downfall is the place is a little run down and dirty feeling. The toys are old and it could just use a refresh in paint to clean the place up. The only reason I gave this place two stars was because my 1yr old child had fun and it gave me a chance to let him run freely. This place is DIRTY, all of the games for toddlers don't work (I tested them to make sure), there were no paper towels in the restroom, and the snack counter doesn't have one nutritious thing for a toddler( if giving your child Funyuns or Doritos with soda is your thing then you'll love it). I've gone here twice before and was absolutely not impressed. One of the first visits, the little toy cars for toddlers, had no steering wheels. On this last visit, it was nice to see they were replaced. Another thing I noticed on the first visit, there were no pieces at all to any of the toddler play area items, like the kitchen, etc. If you don't want them making their way into the bounce houses, then find something else for the toddler rooms to have in them. Plenty of kids playplaces utilize soft climbing blocks, wooden slides, and wooden activity centers...even ones that mount to the wall. Pretty garbage. Secondly, as others have mentioned, there are piles of old mattresses and such crammed around the place in the corners. I don't know if this is to cover something? Add extra cushion in case a child falls over? I have been to multiple bounce houses and never seen anything of the sort, so it makes me think it's just a place to toss garbage. I would think the inspection people would have a field day. The couch in the back room is crushed, it does look like someone dropped a massive cannonball on it. I was impressed by the cleanliness of this place as well as the price. It smelled so fresh when I walked in. And the carpets were clean and the bounce features were grime free. I've been here in the past but it's been at least a year. There has been changes to the bounce features- bigger ones- but the favorites are still there. What I like about this place is that you can pay once and come back all week (mon-fri). My kids chose this over the zoo and VLM so it looks like the Bounce House will be seeing us a lot this week. I've been to this place often, and we have always had a great time. Yesterday we also hosted our son's fourth birthday here. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! The employees were fantastic. I was on the verge of a breakdown because as soon as I opened my trunk, my huge balloon displays went into the sky. We picked Bounce House because I wanted something fun and easy while my husband is away, and they were so accommodating. The employee actually went and GOT ME MORE PAW PATROL BALLOONS! Why was I at Bounce House? I attended a kid party there for a friend. Two highlights for my experience. 1) I won my niece a Mickey Mouse doll out of the claw machine (I can spend $20 at those damn things. It's not even about the toy. I have to win.). 2) I did bounce for a bit and dropped kicked my friend WWE-style and he fell. Lots of screaming kids. They're screaming to the top of their lungs. They run all over the place. I know kids are dirty. They're full of nasty ass germs. I try to avoid them. Parents aren't even paying attention. They're on their phones. I suppose a bounce house could be fun. Trying to do front flips in your 30s isn't as fun when like when you were 10. You tend to think of ways you can hurt yourself. If you throw a party there your rent your section for two hours. One hour is to bounce, an exhausting experience for an adult, and an hour isn't enough to wear out a kid. The other hour is for the party room for everyone to eat. The rooms are small. Trying to fit 20 people in the room is tight, let alone what seemed like 40 people. My first time here and I'm in love. They have couches and picnic tables close to the bouncing things, so it's easy to get to your kids. I have been to three other bounce houses in the VB & Chesapeake area and this one by far is the best in all areas of expectation. -Price -Seating/Facility -Wifi Price is great, under 3 is $6 and all others $8 and no fee for adults. They also have weekly passes $10 per child and it is good mon-fri, a great way to set up play dates (that's what I have done). They have great wifi. I'm a digital scrapbook'er and I bring my laptop often enough to be able to set-up and work on my books while my children play (ages 7 & 4). Also, they have a ONE large main open area where I can see who comes in & out along with having only one entrance/exit; with small children this helps a big deal. For those with smaller children, a large play area in front has three rooms of toys and push cars, little houses and fun things for the little ones who are not quite ready to bounce. Comfortable seating areas on the couches and VERY CLEAN. One thing to consider, they have snacks for sale and small food items such as pizzas. The food isn't great however, its normal food you would get at any bounce house, because of this I didn't deduct a rating start. We took our 3 and a half year old here to kill some time before we had to be back in Chesapeake. I was very impressed with the facility. The place was clean, the bounce houses were well taken care of, the employees were nice, and they had extra rooms for the kids to play in, well stocked with toys and riding cars. Another thing that impressed me was the fact they had very comfortable sofa and chairs throughout the faculty to watch your little one. Socks are a must, so if you didn't bring any, they sell them for $1. Not bad. They had food to buy such as funnel cakes, chips, hot dogs, pizzas, and candy. My son had a great time. Great value, friendly staff, as clean as can be expected considering how many kids come through. My only complaints: 1) There are no outside drinks or food allowed but the only snacks and drinks offered are incredibly junky with zero nutritional value. (Thankfully the staff wasn't super strict about this; mama needs her go-juice). 2) There are a few dedicated infant areas that seem a bit neglected. It would be great if they could knock down a few walls, make the infant area a little more open and throw in some padded jungle gym pieces for babies. 3) Some of the bouncy houses are really dark, I had a hard time keeping an eye on my 3 kids (ages 5, 2, and 8 mos) from one spot. Arrived at Bouncees with 7 kids and passes purchased on Groupon only to find they were permanently closed. Headed to the next closest bounce house which was this place. Asked the owner (I think it was the owner) if he knew anything about the closing while I'm paying for 7 kid's admissions that I didn't expect to be doing since I had passes to the other place. While the kids were playing the man I spoke with came over and gave me free passes to come back. Wow! This place is crazy with kids and cool inflatables. So much fun for the kids! They are packed with bounce houses and maintain them really well. The bathrooms are clean (sometimes quite the feat for kid places) and they add decor, like snowflakes hanging from the ceiling in wintertime. They have a good variety of bounce houses including some that are just for kids under three. They also have a play area with play houses and little cars that kids can play in if they are small enough. I especially like them for birthdays. This is one of the few places that is actually interested in making it a great time instead of squeezing every last dollar from you. The parties are very reasonably priced and they make it simple. You can have it planned in less than a 5 minute phone call- no extensive forms. They have a private bounce room that the kids from your party can play in together. That room alone is fairly large with multiple bounce houses, and they can still use the regular area too. If you want music, they put it on for you. I love that the staff are so kind and eager to help but give you space and will check in as needed. My favorite thing is that they let you bring your own food. You can buy it through them if you want to make things easy, but it is not required or pressured in any way. This is the nicest of the Bounce House locations. There is a separate area for kids under 3. It is relatively clean and there are many couches and tables for parents to sit or for snacking. They have chips and drinks for sale. On weekends there is over-priced hot food available for purchase. Hot Dog for $3. We had bought a groupon that included a bag of chips and a drink for each kid. The bathrooms needed attention but they were not disgusting. It is really loud, not just because of kids but because of the white noise from the inflatables. The day we were there it was really cold inside but the kids were still working up a sweat. Plenty of parking. Good place to wear out your kids on a rainy day.
