Boulevard Olímpico is a beautiful little coastline area in Rio de Janeiro.
It's a promenade along the water where you can shop, eat, or just take a walk and look at the beautiful views.
This is the spot where some cruise ships drop off, so there will be people trying to sell those cruise goers tchotchkes and things as they disembark. I wouldn't buy any of those, because everything I saw there could be purchased for much cheaper further in town.
Boulevard Olímpico is also the spot of the world's largest street art (Mural das Etnias), and that was the reason we visited - but enjoyed all the other things that Boulevard Olímpico offered too! read more
