    7-Eleven - I prefer eleven

It's time to Segue to this review, which is about Segue Eleven. I may have to "Sever Eleven" all…read moreties with this store, though, because Willow Ridge across the street is better, cheaper, and independently owned. This is the 7-Eleven on the Boulevard and one which I stop at fairly regularly because I drive up and down this Boulevard all the damn time - even though my favourite restaurant, Seoul Garden, just down the street, has closed down. One of the most noticeable things is that everybody comes in here for the big gulps. If I'm behind people in line it's almost always behind somebody carrying a Big Gulp or a Massive Gulp or whatever the big ones are called. Do you know how bad this stuff is for you? It's insanely bad for you. If we all started drinking water we'd all be so much thinner. In any case it's expensive, but it's excellent at 3 in the morning when you need some convenience store items - but if you have the opportunity to go across the street to Willow Ridge Convenience instead, then I recommend that. My previous review said: The place is clean, service is okay, it's open around the clock which is very useful. There are as few other spots up and down the Boulevard that are open 24 hrs, and I've found this 7 Eleven to be a little more expensive than those. Now that the Walmart is gone, gas stations are your best bet without going all the way down to Sheridan or hitting up Tops and Wegmans (neither of which are cheap), but 7 Eleven is the priciest of the 24 hour gas stations along NFB in my experience. If they hike their prices any more than they already have, I may have to seven all ties with them.

It's because of this 7-11 I found my new fav cupcake spot in Buffalo - Signature Sweets. They carry all the small bag chips and candy you want and have plenty of cold drinks. Easy parking. A-OK

Definitely one of my favourite convenience stores in the area and now that it's right next door to one of my favorite restaurants in the area - Xi'an (try the lamb cumin) - I come here even more often. They're pretty friendly and they've got a pretty eclectic crowd coming in and out. Always busy. A little bit run-down but maybe that helps keep their prices down because they're definitely cheaper than 7-Eleven. I've even had a sandwich from here recently when my favorite restaurant is closed down for a few weeks. Not bad at all. My previous review: I used to think this was called "Convent" and would come here looking for cute nuns, because I always wanted to date a Nun, but then who doesn't? I've been to this store many times, as I used to live right around the corner. Lots of cute girls shop at this store (Willow Ridge is the street of cute girls, btw), that is one of my defining memories. Another is that the prices are a little lower than you'd expect for a convenience store in a rich suburb, and they have some more interesting selections. Service is really nice, and after awhile, the guy knew my name. I doubt he does anymore because I moved away. It's a useful convenient store near Willow Ridge on NFB that sells all kinds of random stuff at typically marked up 7-11 prices, and helps the local community avoid trips down to Wegmans and the now-closed Walmart that was close by. It was exactly as the name suggests: convenient. With very friendly employees, too. It loses a star for the high prices but is a solid 4, and is still there, churning out late-night goodies to college kids and locals, not far from the wonderful Seoul Garden and Black Forest Saddler, a horse-seat shop. Oh wait. No. It's Adler. A German restaurant. Yes that's it.
