We had lunch here today, food was good, service was quick. I had the blackened fish tacos (cod). Nicely done, flavorful with fresh ingredients (lettuce, onions salsa). It came with a salad of fresh greens, tomatoes and onions and dressing on the side. Nice! My brother built his own burger. Burger, lettuce, cheese & pickles. He liked it a lot. I've been coming here 3-4 times a week for the past month while out of town for work. However I've had multiple bad experiences with the female bartender back to back times. She does her job, but she clearly doesn't enjoy working in the customer service industry. I've made jokes here and there and she has zero sense of sarcasm or personality. Why bartend if you genuinely don't like conversations with customers. A successful bartender is hospitable and gets generous tips. I'll spend my money elsewhere from now on. Or I'll figure out what days not to come here when she's working behind the bar. read more

I've been a customer 5-6 times during prior visits to Grand Rapids and stopped in again for a late May lunch. We received a friendly welcome from the pleasant hostess who seated us at a booth where a Twins game (they won this one) was clearly visible thanks to 25+/- TVs. The restaurant was quiet...maybe 20% occupied. Attentive server (Makayla) helped answer some menu questions and I ordered the Chicken Fajita salad that arrived quickly and looked good (see photo). The lettuce was finely chopped, while the well seasoned chicken was nice and warm. I opted for a ranch dressing vs. the standard and more spicy chipotle. Either would get the job done nicely. Restrooms were reasonably clean and background music was great. Ask about daily soup specials and interesting burgers for those looking for something a little different. Overall, an enjoyable 4-Star experience for me. I'd recommend that my fellow Yelpers (and others) give it a try. read more

They quit giving away t-shirts as a reward for eating the epic burger. This is a $25 dollar menu item and although it is tasty, the price along with the size of the burger leaves me feeling like I've earned something more than simply a full stomach. I was led to believe I would be rewarded with the complementary shirt and was left heartbroken. Though my stomach is full, there is still a part of me that feels somehow empty. I am not mad. We come into town (Grand Rapids) when we are at our cabin. Typically we do the brewery hop, but we tried Boulder Tap House last night. Great food. Clean restaurant. Family friendly. Lovely service. I got the cheese curds. They are HUGE. Served with their burger sauce, which tasted like Big Mac sauce and Chick Fil A sauce had a baby. Super good bar snack. My guy had the cheese curd burger. Massive. Also he subbed side with soup. Our daughter had a cheeseburger. The kids meals come with a cookie and crazy cup, so she enjoyed that. Extensive tap list. Played fun 90s music. Came for lunch. Took a long time (over 20 minutes) to get 2 sandwiches. My veggie burger appeared to simply be a Morningstar Farms Patty, seemed to be microwaved-was hard on one edge. If you want good food, do not waste your time or money here. My family and I stopped at the Grand Rapids location on Thanksgiving eve at 7pm and the place was a ghost town. That should have been our first sign, but We were so hungry on our drive from the cities that we threw crap to the wind...the burgers were bone dry, frozen, overcooked, pucks of garbage. The fries were over cooked and had no seasoning. The waiter seemed to be in another reality - Maybe the reality where the food is a lot better!? I hear the beer is good? I won't ever know. Nice new addition to Grand Rapids! Drinks are good, beer is great. I've been a few times since it has opened. Some of the food is good, some is ok. Their burgers are really good, cheese curds are huge and yummy. Had the chicken fajita wrap and it's was pretty bland and I could tell it had been sitting in the window for quite a while. Service is slower but that's to be expected during the first few weeks of opening while they work out all the kinks. All in all I think it will be a wonderful addition to the community. read more

Stopped in for lunch last week. Very busy but we were seated within a few minutes. Our server changed over the course of the time we were there, maybe because there was a party of about 10 next to us. One person took our drink order, another the food, and third delivered it. I had shrimp tacos with rice and beans. The soft tacos were crisped up just right and the sweet chili sauce added just the right heat. Generous serving of three. Brought us our food didn't come back to even see if it was ok, my Husband wouldn't eat his Philly Steak Sand. and fries it at all. After waiting all summer for it to open went this week for lunch. Food was very good. Our waitress was very nice and helpful and also noticed wait staff trained very well, picked up done dishes even if not their table, moved quickly (was a full house that day) and kept in communication with customers. Do like the open floor plan better than previous but it was so loud and noisy could not have normal conversation so can't imagine what happy hour would be like. Sound issue should have been addressed when building and had as much attention paid to it as the amount of TVs on the walls. read more
