A couple of years ago, in a quandry about what I could give my mother for her birthday, I approached Christopher and asked if it would be possible to have a monthly floral arrangement delivered to her. Not only was he supportive of my request, but every single month our expectations are surpassed by the beauty, creativity and longevity of the arrangements that arrive on her doorstep. Especially during this past year of incredible isolation, that monthly delivery has been such a bright spot for Mom, and amazingly they almost always last until it's nearly time for the next. With so many of us frequently struggling to think of gifts for our loved ones that won't just add to the clutter or lie dormant and unused, I highly recommend tapping into Otto's Oasis for a regularly-scheduled, beautifully created fresh spot of sunshine and reminder of your love!

I live in California so going through a large & popular online floral company was not what I wanted. Come on?....cramped flowers put inside a box & shipped from who knows where by either FedEx or UPS? And then if the recipient isn't home, they'll leave the box at the door. Definitely not what I wanted. I chose Pocketful of Posies because they are local & close to where my friend lives - only 8 miles away & I like supporting small businesses! I had enclosed a card -- reread it three times & placed the order. After that was completed, I caught a typo on the card. Since the business was already closed because they are three hours ahead of California, I called the next morning and spoke to Karen. I told her my error & she would correct it. Karen also suggested that she could call my friend to make sure she would be home for the delivery, if that was OK with me & of course it was! I will definitely be using this business on a yearly basis to send floral bouquets to my best friend! FYI - My friend received her beautiful bouquet and I have added a picture from my Facebook
