Never expected to find this wonderful gem next to the old theater on Main Street. We met the owner - Tammy - who showed us her new laser etching machine that makes world class personalized gifts at extremely reasonable prices. We have been in a lot of boutique stores like this and this is the ONLY one where we've seen this type of personalization on a multitude of very cool gifts for birthdays, weddings and special occasions. Then we looked around and found artwork and a huge variety of terrific items for our home - some sourced from local artists and some sourced from far off places. The one consistent thing we noted was the exquisite 'taste' of the owner/buyer. She has a real eye for great items at value prices. One of the finest retail boutiques we've ever visited and the first one I ever felt compelled to write a review about in two decades plus as a shopping couple. My wife and I both thought it was a truly world class store. Wish we could give it six stars. It REALLY is worth visiting when you are in the area. read more

What can I say... I go to this place every single time I visit Charles City. If you are looking for cute, fun and unique things, look no further. There are so many gorgeous treasures, household items, kids toys, women's clothing items and more. This truly is such a gem and in a great location as well. I highly recommend!!! read more

One of the greatest stores in Northeast Iowa. Did you know they were named Iowa's best business in 2015 by Main Street Iowa/Iowa Economic Development, what a great accomplishment. It's a wonderful place to shop. With such great and helpful staff you're sure to find exactly what you're looking for or maybe what you didn't know you needed. Try some of their awesome hot tea or iced tea it's unbelievable even if you don't like tea you'll love this. And their Painting Uncorked classes are amazing no skill required anyone can paint and leave with something to be proud of when taking one of their classes. Classes led by Art Box Painting! They are also a great corporate citizens involved in local chamber and community revitalization events and supporters of the arts. The staff at Rustic Corner is incredible. I own a local photography studio and if not for The Rustic Corner my clients would be getting their pictures and USB drives in grocery store sacks or something...
