When it comes to Bottle Rock and buying tickets, I always ask myself if it's worth it. I'm here to say...it is! The crowds, the walks from certain lots and bathrooms can be a pain, but the positives outweigh those. If you want to attend multiple shows with a wide variety of music genres, this is the place to be. There are plenty of food choices and you can slow down and just hang out if you want to. I think the event has gotten a bit crowded, but I see where some options have improved. The verizon viewing is a plus, the merch online order, the locker reservations and the water refill station truly help. Tips- please get your drink bracelets when you walk in, bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat is your friend, wear comfortable shoes, and expect to pay higher prices on food/drinks.

This year was my first time at BottleRock, and I had a blast! It was probably the most well-organized music festival I've ever been to, and I feel like the attendees skewed older. I really liked the emphasis on food, with a huge variety of vendors and live events on the Williams Somoma Culinary Stage. The first day, I had a Birria Grilled Cheese, which was fantastic! The toasted sourdough bread was perfect, and the meal was deceptively filling for its size. The second day, we had Crispy Chicken Poutine and Korean Chicken Dumplings, which were both just okay - not really worth the steep pricing. The best bite of the day was the Paella, which was super flavorful and large enough to be shared between the three of us. I also had the Apple Pie with Ice Cream, which was just decent. Food and drinks were generally very expensive, and popular items sold out halfway through the day. However, lines were very manageable and service was impressively quick. I was also impressed by the "spa" area which featured massage therapists, hair stylists, makeup artists, and jewelry vendors. We didn't get anything here, but it was cool to see all the options! The music lineup was also pretty good (we only went Friday and Sunday), and the overlapping sets weren't terrible (especially compared to OSL). I liked exploring the different areas like the blanket zone and silent disco. The only thing that was lacking were cute photo spots, besides the big floral sign that said "LOVE". Overall, we had an amazing time, and I would return in the future!

By far the best musical festival I have ever been to. It's super pricey and I can only really handle one day (energy wise), but their line up is always fire and the location is everything. It always falls on Memorial weekend, so definitely have a day of recovery to follow. I love their layout and that all the stages are pretty close walking distance to one another. They have 7 stages - 3 smaller ones, 2 large ones with the bigger names/headliners, 1 VIP only stage, and 1 Culinary stage. Honestly - the headliners are great, but the past couple years the small stages have been magical. You get more up close and personal and get to discover up and coming artists or enjoy some throwback hits. I even got the opportunity to experience some of the artists coming out and performing in the crowd (2023-Thee Blessed Souls and 2014-LaRussell). 2022 was my first year and I believe I got to see about 4 artists...I was mainly there for the headliner 21 Pilots. I went with a couple friends and we were all trying to figure out the layout and not bouncing between stages too much. It was great though and I knew I'd wanna return. 2023- I went more prepared...looked up the Bottlerock Playlist on Spotify and got to know some more of the artists. I think we saw a total of 8 artists with Lizzo as the grand finale. It was another great fest experience. 2024- Bottlerock Playlist (by the specific day) on repeat weeks before and I went with my boyfriend and friend (first timers)....I missed my OG Bottlerock crew, but I knew I would be in a familiar place that I love and I got to basically lead the pack and decide our whole schedule. We fit in 8 artists and this time even got to see the Culinary stage where a chef cooks with a celebrity. I got to see BBQ pitmaster Rodney Scott and T-pain making some tri tip. More bouncing around to try to catch as many artists as we could, but it was cool. Weather has been pretty perfect each year. It does get cold so I recommend bringing a jacket. Also bring a blanket for the early concerts and get a locker to store it and any merch or other stuff later. Also- one of the things that make this my favorite is that the bathrooms are a step above port-o-potties and have flushing toilets and lighting at night (most of them). I highly recommend the shuttle service. They have them from a few major cities. We take it from Sacramento (last couple years pick up and drop off has been Capitol Park Rose Garden) and it costs about $50-60 per person round-trip. There are lots of Food and drink options there, but again pretty pricey, so pregame and have lunch before arriving to cut the cost a little. I have tried Grilled cheese, spam musubi, fancy flavored donuts, churro and they were all pretty good. I also splurged this year and got a plastic carafe of pinot gris from the wine garden which comes with 2 glasses and they all say Bottlerock on them so I look as it as a souvenir too ;) $75 for that and about 4-5 drinks. Also bought my first piece of merchandise- a BR trucker hat. Stoked to show it off. Yes - Bottlerock will be a for sure thing for me each year. Boyfriend and friend loved it too, so we will return.

My wife's and my first music festival ever. We stayed in town and took an Uber there and back, which was pretty easy. The food choices were overall pretty good if a little on the pricier side. We went Sunday 2024 and liked many of the acts--The Offspring was the best especially with Ed Sheeran joining by surprise! Bathrooms in the VIP area are nice. There weren't too many wasted people and a very diverse audience. The paella was the best thing we ate. Bring a see through backpack for your stuff. Get there early so you can see the smaller acts which are a lot more fun. Also, listen to the Spotify playlist the week or two before to know who you want to see!

We had a blast attending the 10th anniversary of BottleRock this past Sunday. We found free street parking in the early afternoon, about a 10-15 minute walk away on Silverado Trail, worth saving $50-60 on event parking fees. General admission entry lines were about a 15 minute wait to go through security. Inside, there were so many food stations to choose from, including famous names like Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream and El Porteno empanadas, as well as noodles, burgers, tacos, fried chicken, paella, mac n cheese, hawaiian food, and of course, pizza! We got dinner from La Pizza Co. $14 for a giant slice bigger than the plate, loaded with melted cheese and delicious toppings, pretty good deal... unlike lunch from the Grilled Cheese stand earlier in the day, a tiny grilled cheese sandwich with cheap tasting ingredients, around the same cost as that pizza, not a good deal. For drinks, the only place we found canned soda (and other random items) was at a booth called the Ranch Market General Store. All of the Beer, Wine, and Spirits tents had just that, alcoholic beverages, plus liquid death water, flavored sparkling water, and red bull. We tried the Kentucky Maiden and Owen's Cosmojito, and they were alright. The cocktails at Hendrick's Gin bar had a lot more flavor (strawberry sundance and cucumber lemonade). There were several areas with picnic tables for seating, partially covered/shaded, but we lay our mat down to eat, relax, and enjoy the music throughout the day at the Jam Cellars Stage area, which seemed to be divided into two sections (standing guests near the stage at the front half of the lawn, blankets and mats spread out in the back near the food and drink tents). Of course, VIP's elevated along the sides. Of the performers, my faves were Sheryl Crow, The National, and the headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers. I've seen RHCP before, a decade ago, at Outside Lands in SF, which is very similar an event as BottleRock, but their performance this past weekend was more impressive than I remember (we enjoyed this one up close near the stage). The sound quality and lighting for the show were pretty good as well. Other spots worth checking out, besides the live music, are the Wine Garden, Spa, and Silent Disco. Shirt shops had constantly long lines and ran out of a lot by late afternoon. The Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage was cool. We watched the Voltaggio Brothers cooking and plating with Wu Tang Clan, Warren G, and Amirah Kassem on stage. And the entrance for Monkey Shoulder Port-a-party may be deceiving, the long line is not to use the restroom (rather it's another club space with drinks and music). The actual restrooms are near a corner of each stage. I never waited more than a  couple minutes to use the restroom (just walk to the far end), the porta potties were clean and flushable, with a wash station constantly being refilled with soap and paper products. I guess we got pretty lucky, perfect comfortable weather all day on Sunday, not too hot, nor too cold. And yes there were a lot of attendees, but the waits for food/drinks were reasonable and manageable compared to the many festivals I've attended. And the only real crowds we encountered (like literally touching strangers) was in the standing area in front of the stage during the headliners performance, which is expected if you choose to be up there. So overall, we had a great experience, and for multiple concerts in one place on one day (or weekend), you definitely get good value for your money.

The dude and I came to Bottle Rock Napa Valley on 9/5/21, as the day before was my older sisters birthday! She wasn't too happy I got to see Hot Girl Meg and the Foo Fighters along with Jack Harlow and Jimmy Eat World and she didn't on her bday weekend! Sorry sis! Anywho, we arrived about an hour before opening and it took about 45 min to find parking. Parking was easy to find and we actually parked pretty close to the venue about less than half a mile. I was so princess excited as this was our first festival to attend since the Pandemic. As a fully vaccinated couple we needed - EVERYONE needed to be fully vaccinated or show negative test within 48 hours. They had testing centers around the premises of Bottle Rock. They did a THOROUGH check of our vaccine cards and had to be 14 days out your last shot so they weren't playing! Also upon enter they checked bags and wand you down. Make sure you bring ID as they checked everything!! We didn't have anything on us so we weren't worried and it was a breeze. We also got our 21 and older bracelets too. I got so many princess compliments for my princess outfit which was funny as the dude styled me so that warmed my heart that the dude has good taste in fashion! A lot of the Bottle Rock Peeps were so friendly and it was fun mingling with wine junkies! I was such a BUG to the dude as I can't tolerate the heat at all and it was a HOT day. There was minimal shade :( so that was tough as I was so princess exhausted and needed to take several breaks as the heat was terrible. We did find some shade and relaxed for about 2 hours while drinking Keto One cocktails- Fresh Watermelon drink was out of this world!!! The dude loved it. The dude liked his Rum Mai Tai which I wasn't a fan of. None of us got WINE haha we were so into the cocktails. I ate ice cream and pizza perfect princess food which I was so hungry that I didn't even take a picture of the pizza but it was good! I barely walked away from the dude as he was in line getting a snack and I was fan GIRLIN about Michael Villaggio I got hit on with in seconds of taking two steps away from the dude which we thought was hilarious! Evening was my time to shine as I was not heat drained and it was cool! It was nice to see Meg Thee Stallion as her performance was awesome and I become a HOT Girl that night!! Didn't realized I liked her that much but she is Black, talented, young and beautiful so sending her all the support! The dude LOVED it of course with all the twerking haha We did see some of the Foo Fighters maybe about 2 or 3 songs as they had those two headliners going on at the same time!! That would be my ONLY complaint :( like why! We wanted to see Meg and Foo Fighters why make us pick like that Bottle Rock! Maybe that's a good problem to have !! I love to dance. No matter where I am, I will dance if a good tune is on which good tunes were on all day! Probably why I was so exhausted from the heat. Overall, there was ample seating, beautiful decor and lively entertainment. I seriously love the culinary stage as 98.99% of my TV time is watching cooking shows and learning who the upcoming Chefs are! So it was awesome to see a few familiar faces in public. I wanted to meet Guy Fieri so bad :( but he was lost in the crowd haha Anyways the dude and I would like to make it a tradition to come out to Bottle Rock the dude made sure I was pampered all day and put my needs before his which was so thoughtful (he held my princess umbrella at times I couldn't, put up with all my princess shenanigans haha he is a TROOPER). See you next year Bottle Rock!

Bottle Rock Napa was AMAZING! We flew in from Raleigh to attend this year and it was one of the best experiences of my life, especially considering the amazing wine, food, and most importantly some of my bucket list musicians. It still feels like a dream! We had GA tickets for Thursday - Sunday and so glad we did! It would however be cool to get VIP one day though, as they seemed to have a lot of amenities/comfort. Let's start with the atmosphere. Such a fun vibe, happy people, and surprisingly nobody too drunk or obnoxious - ha! Even as it got later, people behaved, which is always nice. Many decent sized portable bathrooms so the lines were never too long. My only complaint is as the day/evening progressed, they were often out of toilet paper. Other than that, a good amount for the amount of people at the festival. There was a rule of no plastic disposable water bottles which was great, bring your own and refill your water at the water stations which were everywhere. Security, EMS, and people constantly cleaning to keep the place clean. One thing that I loved is that even though we were not VIP, there were many "indoor" areas. If you buy their wine, you can hang out inside, get fun fake tattoos, do a photo booth. Super cute. A lot of areas with trees, tents for eating and hanging out, so a bit of shade. Luckily, it wasn't too hot during the day when we were there! It gets chilly at night so be sure to bring a sweater! On to the food and wine! There were so many food options - had to be at least 50! We tried a few different items throughout the weekend and were impressed by them all! From some of the best pizza I have ever had, to dumplings, to Hawaiian noodle bowls and Kimchi beef bowls. Everything was delicious. The wine was amazing too, although incredibly expensive. It was probably between $13-$40 for a 5 ounce pour. Either way, it was nice to have so many options! Music time - this was by far the best part. Some of my bucket list musicians were at Bottlerock! Kygo and Vance Joy for the win! They were truly phenomenal live and this was a dream come true! It was also great to see Metallica, Pitbull, Twenty One Pilots, Pink and a few more. I think the staff did a great job at choosing stages for the musicians, except for Pitbull. He should have been at a bigger stage. We could hear him but could not see him at all, and that's the only show that I feel felt "dangerous" due to so many people and no room at all. Other than that, this experience was magical! I highly recommend Bottle Rock and can't wait to see the lineup for next year! Such a great, and pretty chill music festival!

The good: ADA was incredible. I can't thank them enough. The shuttle, the sitting area, the bathrooms were so welcome. The organization of this festival was outstanding, the food was spread out so no long lines. The stages were spread out so no major sound bleed. Lots of security to help keep lanes moving. A blanket area that had dividers to avoid being trampled. The kids had the own spot to play. The lockers were awesome. It was easy to find. Locks worked. The staff Tim and Brian were helpful. The merch was divided into 2 spots. The water refill stations were easy to find and access. Swag vendors were limited. VIP had their own concerts. They had another stage where artists played an additional show. Bleachers for general admission. Lots of picnic tables to eat and drink. Silent disco was so great to watch. The astroturf made it so much cleaner. Staff in ADA was so kind and compassionate to everyone. I appreciated the sparkling water options. The bad: The culinary shows were hard to hear and see. It's a great idea but it's cramped in the current space. Tshirts for larger people sell out too fast. Please order more. Get your merch on Friday if you want anything. It will sell out by Sunday. We had done really great food and some bad food. Empanadas, açaí smoothie, paella great. Apple pie and chicken larb were not good.

Ask the Community - Bottle Rock Napa Valley

Any recommendations on drive/park or taking the shuttle from S. Bay? I am either going to drive from Los Gatos/try to find parking or take the shuttle offered by FestDrive from San Jose. Any thoughts and opinions are welcome! Thanks!

If you want to find parking you have to come early! There are actually a ton of parking spots, so you can expect to pay about $60 for up close towards the entrance on 3rd street.

Does anyone have a problem with paella?

I had an issue with the fact that they advertised on the app that they would have vegetarian paella and didn't have it.

We will continue to attend each year provided the weather cooperates. This year (2026) I loved the gnomes, but I was a bit disappointed with the artist talks on opening night of the festival, as the gallery venue was very noisy and the artists were mingling with guests in the gallery when we arrived. There was a mic set up and I would have preferred that the artists done brief presentations on their exhibits with the mic before they mingled. The event felt a bit chaotic and my group left quickly when we realized that the artists were not doing formal talks. Hawaiian cultural in the Napa Valley…read more ALOHA! This was our first year attending the Aloha Festival in Napa Valley. Actually, I just happened to see a friend's Yelp check-in from my feed [thanks, Gerald!] and we decided to stop by. We didn't know about this annual event. This year the cultural festival celebrated their 10th year. The event was held this past weekend, (Sat and Sun) Sept 16-17 from 10a-6p and is near downtown Napa and the courthouse. Parking and admission are free. Walked inside the building and immediately you will see lots of souvenir vendors selling anything from Hawaiian sterling silver jewelry (love the plumeria flower anklets) to aloha shirts and novelty tees to fun Hawaiian home decors and wares (see my photo about the "slippahs"). It was fun walking around. Reminded me of a tiny version of the outdoor swap meet in Hawaii at the Aloha Stadium. I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and I miss the Aloha spirit. Outside are all kinds of food vendors offering treats from hot malasadas to shave ice to BBQ plate lunches to fresh Maui pineapples... and more merchandise vendors offering coolio Hawaiian arts and crafts. On stage were Hawaiian performers and musicians from Hawaiian and Polynesian communities that entertained the crowd in the grass area and under a huge shaded covered tent. There were bleachers and some picnic tables in the premises. Definitely a family friendly event. The food was a bit pricey for us: $6 for shave ice, $13 for a garlic shrimp lunch plate (regular or spicy), 4-pcs of hot malasadas for $6 (regular or cream filled), $1 for a slice of Maui pineapple just to name a few. Saw some interactive cultural presentations as well and they were making leis. The annual Napa Valley Aloha Festival is held on the third weekend in September at the Napa Valley Expo on 3rd Street. You can bring folding lawn chairs and/or blankets/mats to watch the live entertainment on the grass area but the following are NOT allowed: pets (except for service animals), alcohol, drugs and No Bad Attitudes! Mahalo! and Shaka Hawaii! Review #0851

Anything…read moreand everything of Hawaii reminds me of him because the Aloha Spirit is so warm, kind, loving, and all that reminds me of my childhood in Hawaii as well as him. 2015 was a hot year with temperatures reaching above 95. Fortunately the concert area had a large sunscreen above the stage and seating area and the DJ constantly reminded all the visitors to stay hydrated. You're more than welcome to bring in your own cooler (bottled water was $2 so I do suggest bringing your own water bottles), lawn chairs, and blankets but no pets or alcohol were allowed. They had a handful of food vendors. From malasadas, shaved ice, hot dogs, pork lau lau, to sushi. We ordered four malasadas that tasted pretty average, shaved ice (li hing/haupia with ice cream and a dash of li hing mui) that was alright, a plate of pork lau lau with lomi lomi salmon, rice, and mac salad. The pork lau lau tasted pretty good and so did the lomi lomi salmon. I did not eat the rice or the mac salad. The sales vendors had to of been around 25 or so. From dresses and sarongs for keiki's, woman's (and of course men's) regular size to plus size, jewelers, people that make fabric lei's, hyn clothing brand(s), fake flowers, pictures, and small trinkets. Some vendors took card but it's a good idea to bring cash. EASILY I could of stayed the whole day. We laid a blanket down and enjoyed the beautiful music, the different types of halaus, and the seeing the keikis play around us. It was great to speak pigeon and have others understand what I'm saying. Overall, it was fun. Great family atmosphere, music, dancing, and food.

Horrible. Totally misleading…read more "Wine and Food Festival".. It's really a shitty expo. The first annual. First, i scoured the website because i like to know where i'm going and any other details i should know about like PARKING! No mention of paying $5 parking in a field of sticks, hay, rocks, and loose dirt or $20 "VIP" parking that was the same but a little closer. This is info to know for all those open-toed sandal wearin' ladies and flip flop wearin' motherfuckers. It's a $65-$75 admission and you check-in at a table where they give you a wine glass and inform you that you are to RETURN the wine glass prior to leaving. You make your way into CornerStone Gardens and it's packed. Vendor tables all lined up. Extremely packed, uncomfortable.. And CHILDREN and STROLLERS!.. As if it wasn't packed enough.. We have to make way for your stroller at a wine and food event. (Prick.) There were wine tastings and complimentary bite-sized nibbles. Everything else--- not included in your admission price. A large number of tables were for you to pay more. Not even marked or separated by any logic.. You could be waiting in a long line only to find when you get your turn, it's a selling table. And that's after rude ass adults swarm the side of the line and cut in front of you. It's a terrible representation of California's wine country. None of the wines that were offered were even any good. They showcased shitty wine. Even the tasting we paid for with Keating.. Shitty. I think if you're associated with this event, you should be blackballed.

Anything food related, I am soo there! But with WINE.. It basically sealed the deal for me. Advance…read moretickets to the festival were $65 per person and $75 at the door. There are packages that you could buy for both the festival and the wine symposium, but since we got a deal through TravelZoo for two tickets at the price of one, we just opted for the general admission. We had no expectations for this event as it was the 1st time anything like this was held. We received two Riedel glasses to use during the event and off we went to explore the beautiful CornerStone Gardens! Some tips as with any festival or outdoor event: 1. Ladies, dress cute if you want to. It's a classy event. Check the weather, but on this day, the weather was perfect for a shawl or a light jacket. I had to go back to my car to drop off my peacoat. 2. Another tip for the ladies: Don't wear heels, wedges, or even open toe, as matter of fact. Wear comfortable shoes.. You don't have to wear ugly running shoes or clogs, but closed-toe or boots were ideal for this festival. It was dirt and lots of people, so your feet will get stepped on. Don't count on sitting down and if you do, the next tip is to.. 3. Bring a blanket, the gorgeous floppy hat you wanna sport and a few bottles of water if you can. The estate is beautiful and stunning, so walking around the place while sipping on wine, you may forget to hydrate. There's a nice grass area that you can sit out and listen to live music. 4. Eat beforehand.. YES.. It's a food festival, but usually these kinds of festivals have samplings of food, not entire entrees. There were a couple booths that had amazing pizzas and hor'dourves, but you guessed it! The lines were long! There were booths that sold food and drinks if you would like, but I was plenty stuffed from all the food samplings and wine. 5. WINE!! I loved each and every vendor.. The stand-out one for me of thise event has to be GLORIA's Blanc de Blancs.. We stood there while they popped bottles and drank and drank.. The ladies didn't bat an eyelash and kept refilling! Anyhow, I read the other reviews and it seems like there was a lot of expectations set for this event. I might've been able to enjoy it more since I had absolutely no expectations of this event except to drink wine, have fun and be merry.. Cheers! xo.

Not only was the film perfect, Woman in Gold starring Helen Mirren, but, we loved the after events as well. We were greeted with our passes and escorted to our comfortable seats in the historical Cameo Theater. After watching and crying though Helen Mirren's performance, we got to hear more details in the process of making this and other films at the Independant studio of Weinstein Co. with David Glasser. The appetizers were delicious and kept coming! The wines were lovely and hand crafted cocktails were also top notch. I will look forward to future events, including their festival in November.

This was my first year attending the film festival and I thought it was outstanding. I was nervous…read moreabout it as I'm not a huge movie lover. I think I've lost faith in main stream media in general. But I have to say, the films were wonderful. There was a rich variety of films and the quality of them was amazing. Even the shorts were delightful. We really enjoyed the Q&A sessions after each movie with the directors, actors, etc. The reason for four stars instead of 5 is that the Pass Plus tickets (which we got as a total splurge for my husband's birthday) were a colossal waste of money. We had to go to a funeral and missed two days of the festival. We tried calling the office and they suggested we try and sell the tickets (no takers). I'm saddened that in such a generous community, they have no bereavement policy. We missed the big fancy gala. (We gave the tickets away to friends so at least someone got to enjoy them, but it was still disappointing for us.) Other than that, we got to be in a special line which was kind of nice, but we would have gotten into the theater anyway. So I wouldn't buy Pass Plus again. [We heard from friends that in previous years the lines were ridiculous and the pass plus was handy to have, but they seem to have resolved the line issue.] So, in conclusion, definitely go to the festival. It's a blast. Get a pass and go all 5 days! Watch 4 movies a day! But unless you've got oodles of cash to throw around, the pass plus tickets aren't worth the price. And if you run across an event organizer, encourage them to come up with a bereavement policy. Death is such a sacred time in life and should be honored.

Wow. What an unforgettable experience at PEJU, especially with the VIP treatment my friends and I…read morereceived from Todd Elliott, AKA to me as wine educator and sommelier extraordinaire! I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!

The grounds are gorgeous inside and out, and I really enjoyed the stained glass, large open windows, and the statues and the koi pond area outside. The service was extraordinary, and I had a great time learning a bit about the different wines PEJU offers from Joseph. I tried quite a few different wines, and really liked how there are a few unique offerings here that you can't find elsewhere - I ended up getting a bottle of their Province, the Farm, and their late harvest orange muscat. PEJU is also one of the few wineries with a permit to serve food. If I had known ahead of time, I would've planned to eat here! The rilettes were super tempting, but Joseph advised that if I was planning to eat a meal afterward to stick to the chips and dip - this ended up being quite a generous portion as well, and I really enjoyed the goat cheese truffle dip alongside the wine tasting :) Overall, PEJU is definitely a beautiful winery to visit with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back!

I was skeptical at first, especially because I've been to my share of overrated festivals. Also…read morebecause I happened upon two mediocre online reviews of past festivals but I am very happy to say I was proven wrong. Contrary to what was advertised, shuttles do not come every 15 minutes. Towards the end of our 50 minute wait at the shuttle pick up, I was getting antsy, but the experience in itself made up for it because it was a lot of fun. Where do I begin? This year, the mustard festival took place at the Mondavi winery, which is beautiful and had lots of Spanish-style indoor buildings as well as outdoor space with green lawns for folks to enjoy. The festival is set up so that people can 'purchase' wine samples and food selections with tickets that are given to them upon entrance. True to it's name, I was able to sample my share of different mustard: Sweet, Honey, Dijon. I'll tell ya, the horse radish mustard is not for the faint of heart because it burns! Food selection to name a few included: gourmet pizza, sandwiches, hamburgers, cheese, Ben and Jerry's ice cream and even gourmet cupcakes. After a long day of tasting, my red velvet treat was icing on the cake. A lot of vineyards from Napa/Sonoma county were there to endorse their wine. I was most excited to see Sterling there because of a past visit to their vineyard and a natural liking of their selection. Most of the vendors were generous with their samples, which of course made for a more enjoyable time. Don't like wine? There was also a section of the festival that had beer sampling too. If you can, buy $35 pre-sale tickets from the Raley's in napa. In addition to what comes with general admission we received +5 wine tickets. General admission itself comes with 10 food coupons, 5 wine tickets and a complimentary wine glass sans an inscription, which is a plus for me because I hate getting wine glasses with wording on it. Highly recommended for people who are interested in attending next year. Me and my friends came in a group of over 10 people. The set up is very group friendly, as I saw groups of many age ranges who like me love good food, good drink, and good times.

The jazz music was great, relaxing. The weather was just beautiful yesterday!!! GORGEOUS! Amazing desserts! The cooking demos were fun and you even get food samplings. I got to meet the executive chefs from AVIA and BRIX. HOW COOOOL IS THAT? Tons of beer and wine tastings available. It was just tons of fun. Plenty of seating if you want to take a break and relax. OH and the art walk was very enjoyable as well. Perfect venue, execution, and good price point. thumbs up!
