When you drop in, it feels awkwardly like walking into someone's private home. People use it for events- and that makes sense. It's an events space rather than a historic one. The people are friendly. It's historic, but not impressive. You are welcomed with a small bottle of their local wine (Banshee Pinot Noir) and a personal note to kick off your stay. We appreciate the little details that make our stay enjoyable and special. If you score a ground floor room, the bathroom has heated floors. The water pressure, to note, is excellent. We also really enjoy the wood-burning fireplace for the ambiance and for the cold winter nights. A m e n i t i e s: There is a spa, gym, heated pool, restaurant (Layla), EV-charging, etc. Grounds are well kept. You can find a fire pit and water filling stations throughout the property. FYI - for the dog owners, there is no dog relief area on property. We went around the holidays and had a wonderful time with the festive events and activities offered. We thoroughly enjoyed the s'mores + hot toddy night and the hand-painted ornament workshop. We may need to return again during the holidays. And if you manage to get out to explore, downtown Sonoma is just about a 15-min walk away.

This is hands down one of my all time favorite hotel stays. Stayed here in August 2024. The Seven Branches Venue and Inn is such an incredible place. The inn has 6 rooms total so it made the stay very relaxing and intimate. We checked in on a Thursday and thankfully our room was available and got checked in early. We got suite 6 and this room exceed my expectations. The interior design was so cute and nice. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was my favorite place to lounge in. The baked goods delivered to your room was the cherry on top for me. The beautiful grounds of this venue is also gorgeous so it made the stay in Sonoma extra special for us. We can't reccomend this place enough. A 10 out of 10. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you Seven Branches for the incredible hospitality, you guys are amazing!

It also allowed for us to get some rest away from the heat with our little one. The staff is super accommodating. Before we were checked in, I asked if they had a lactation room (nope) or just somewhere I could plug into to pump, and they opened an unoccupied room so I could pump comfortably. That is enough for me to want to come back again. With both Marriott Elite and having booked this via Chase travel, we had several benefits including afternoon cocktails ($20 per person), $60 breakfast credit, and $100 hotel credit. Next time I'll be booking two nights so I can get my $250 credit!

They do wine tastings a few afternoons between 430 and 530 but the pours were minuscule. The room itself was spacious (I think we got upgraded since it was midweek). There was an outdoor sitting area including a big bath tub. There's a nice spa on grounds. You can't easily walk to square but they have a free shuttle in a nice VW van. Coming back we waited less than 10 mins. If you're coming to Sonoma, you should defn consider staying here.

We found ourselves sitting next to small children who were having a small meltdown mid way through, but since it was outdoors, the sounds dispersed and we were still able to hear and enjoy the show. We've been twice. Both times it was a Broadway review. The first time was during the pandemic and we were all lined up watching from our cars like a drive in theater. It wasn't ideal, but it was greatly appreciated and shows how much they are dedicated to both their craft and to the community. They've also been incredibly supportive of health care workers who have so much during the pandemic. This year, we went to their "new" location in Sonoma. There is a VIP area with couches and such, but the non VIP area seemed more fun to me. There was a performance from a local dance school as well as different wineries and beverage you could chose from. There was a food truck or you could pack your own picnic and eat at the picnic tables there. Parking was a little confusing, but there were staff/volunteers that were really friendly and could point you in the right direction. We look forward to going again and seeing a full Broadway musical production.
