Clean, affordable, well-stocked with plenty of snacks and cold drinks. I don't consume alcohol, thus it never occurred to me to enter this business. But late one evening, I came in for snacks and was surprised at the variety of items sold here. The goods are organized and easy to locate The guy behind the counter while I was there is also very helpful. It's quick and easy to shop there; Albertson's is not the only store that offers grocery items at a fair price in MB. I returned again twice and walked out with a grocery bag of goods. Once I saw Yellow fin (Ahi) tuna sandwich $11.95 on the menu and saw the sealed Ahi Tuna with pink center photo on Yelp, I had to get that ... The portion seem bigger than most sandwiches you could get, the Togo boxes were so heavy, I thought, while walking to the car with two heavy boxes on my hands. It's love at first bite, despite I hate all the greasy on my fingers and it's messy to eat..:P Ahi Tuna was looked perfectly as I liked, and I think they also toasted bread with Mayo on the grill, that's why it's so greasy but SO GOOD! I love this liquor store. My wife and I like to vacation in Morro Bay every other year or so, and a few visits back I "discovered" this store next to the hotel we were staying in. I was impressed! For vacationers especially, this store is a perfect one-stop shop for liquor and beer of MANY varieties, as well as other drinks, snacks, coffee and coffee creamer, ice cream, microwaveable dishes, and other sundries (toothpaste, nail clippers, etc., etc.). They also have a deli inside, which I've heard is excellent, although we haven't ordered from them yet. Now, whenever we arrive to Morro Bay, if either of us say, "Shoot, I forgot to bring..." or "Hey, should we get something to drink?" we automatically head for Bottle Liquor. Great place for breakfast. Between their sandwiches, burritos, plates, and biscuits and gravy they are hard to beat, especially at the price point. Great selection of liquor and beer of course, but the food is what keeps bringing people back. Its a good spot to grab a quick and tasty breakfast. I need to try more of their lunch offerings, but wasn't quite as happy with their burgers as I have been with the breakfasts. Can't really go wrong with grabbing a bite to eat here though and taking it down to the beach to enjoy. read more

They have a deli and grill made to order... from breakfast burritos to other hot lunch items... and also pre made fresh deli sandwiches and pre made salads to choose from. (Which is handy when the deli is counter is closed). My husband and I got sandwiches for dinner, mine was roast beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese & fresh soft oatmeal bread. He got an egg salad sandwich... both were yummy fresh! Great for picking up a fresh quick picnic on the (Sandwiches are always fresh & yummy) as well as the great wine selection & prices. Yowza! I'm not sure how the procurement officer in the family found this place but he brought home the freshest, most delicious sandwich ever! He paid $10.95 plus tax for a Po' Boy. I don't know if it was an authentic version but it was a taste treat! The sandwich contained freshly battered and fried oysters and shrimp as well as andouille sausage slices. The sauce was a cross between chili seafood and a tartar sauce with chunks of dill pickle. There was lots of crisp green leaf lettuce and tomato on a buttered and toasted soft roll. It was a mess to eat, but so good! Plus, when the head of procurement arrived home to our campsite at Morro Bay State Campground, the sandwich was still piping hot. Based on this great experience, we'll be back often and soon! Went back for breakfast today. The procurement officer ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito that was a bomber! He ate it all, and pronounced it to be excellent tasting as well as an excellent value! I ordered the breakfast sandwich with country sausage, cheese, hash brown and a fried egg on grilled sourdough. It was so hot, I couldn't eat it without burning my mouth. That's a good thing, in my book! It was delicious, and so big, I could only eat half. Eat your heart out, Mickey D! read more

Fantastic. That is all that needs to be said, but let me explain. I ordered the Pastrami and Rye, and my expectations were blown out of the water. Juicy, Tender pastrami. Perfectly grilled onions. 2 slices of greasy rye bread, both toasted perfectly. Their in-shop menu says it all: You pay for a sandwich, not a view. But I reckon that I paid for both. Stunning to both your eyes and taste buds. I'll be back soon for the Chicken Fried Steak Burrito!!! The sandwiches are 10 dollars, with no sides. Worth. Every. Cent. Turned out it was just next door to our hotel too! The liquor is pretty standard pricing but they have a good selection of unique brands and local wines. The real winner here is the deli inside! The first time we stayed here we enjoyed the breakfast burrito - loaded with thick cut bacon and only $6!!! The deck of cards we purchased here cost more . We tried the club sandwich today and it was delish and still fairly priced at $12. This thing was packed with fresh veggies, meats, that thick cut bacon and wrapped up in some toasted bread. The pepperjack cheesesteak met looks like it'll be next for us. Staff is very friendly too! We will continue to stop in during our trips to Morro Bay. read more

The liquor spots that have deli's inside are usually the hidden gems or goldmines that you want to keep an eye out on. Ive been to this spot 3 times last week. Great service and consistent service each and every time. 1st time I had a bbq try tip sandwich. I wasn't impressed, it was drowned in bbq sauce. 2nd time I had a BLT sandwich with avocado and was impressed. Thick cut slices of bacon, crisp lettuce and perfectly sliced avocado. 3rd time I had a bacon cheeseburger with the works and added grilled onions and mushrooms. Definitely a great burger. I totally appreciate this shop with their COVID-19 physical distancing floor stickers and the fact that they are wearing masks and gloves. Most of their other customers were being respectful of the distancing guidelines, too. They offer a great menu of goodies, and have a wide variety of chips and drinks to go with sandwiches. Love the fact that most of the liquor stores in Central Coast also serve food! Came here for lunch and got cheeseburger and pastrami sandwich with fries and drink. I guess you really have to trust that the locals know what they're doing when they say "there's a place in a liquor store that has great food". Amazing call by the brother in law on this one! The reviews alone got me excited and granted for being small on the outside there is quite an array of items on the inside. I drank a bit too hard the night before so seeing a store full of every alcohol known to man made me want to vomit again, but I took notes for where to go to supply that fix on the next Morro outing. Ha-ha! At the very least I can't say enough about the food itself, but then again it spoke for itself as well. I will start off with the one disappointment of the meal, the fried mushrooms. I was so excited to have these as they are my favorite go to side, but I found this batch to be inedible. As I took my first bite it tasted like a mouthful of salt. My guess was it had to be the batter because without it the mushrooms were fine. I really wanted those to work, but perhaps it was just a one off thing I hope? The coup de gras was the cheesesteak. I would say it even topped the legendary Pat's in Philly for me anyways and go figure it came from a hole in the wall eatery in a liquor store no less?!? The portion size itself was massive and probably best shared, but you'll have leftovers for sure (I was tapped out after half). The bread was thin and soft, but managed to hold its own with all the beef, cheese, and peppers which was impressive. The steak was plentiful and both tender all the while being seasoned as it should to do the sandwich justice. What blew me away was the abundance of cheese. This thing just ooe'd gooe'd and moo'd all the way down my esophagus with every bite and boy was my stomach feeling like the big kahuna when it was all said and done! I highly recommend giving this hidden morsel a try if you are in the area. They have burgers and other things, but I'd highly recommend the cheesesteak at the very least if you are a fan! read more

The reuben is excellent with great flavors, generous meat on perfectly grilled sourdough slices. The tri-tip sandwich has too much BBQ sauce for my liking but is heaping with tri-tip. The fish tacos come with grilled firm flesh white fish and lots of shredded cabbage. I did not enjoy the tacos. The eggs benedict and biscuit-and-gravy are pretty good. The prices are reasonable. The breakfast burritos are noteworthy, all very flavorful, although they are heavy so I'd split one rather that eat a whole one. The sandwiches are also really yummy! (So are the fries!!) We have been eating here for a long time and love the breakfast! The Philly Cheesesteak is amazing until today... We order every time we are in town and we were so excited to get our food. We picked it up and headed back to our campsite took a few bites and it was unedible it was as if the entire jar of pepper was dumped on our sandwiches... We have ordered them before and they are always super fresh and delicious so we were so disappointed... We took them back seeing as we spent $18 on pure pepper... The staff was so kind and offered to remake our food. They ended up refunding our money so we were very happy... I think this was a one time issue so we will definitely be back again seeing as how much we love the food (normally) read more
