There were so many options at such affordable prices. right after we sat ourselves, a waiter came with menu qrs and was very helpful, answered all of our menu questions. I'd 100% recommend if you're looking for a casual spot to grab a bite near the canal

Date of visit: May 24, 2025…read more I was looking for a place near our Milan apartment that we could get some authentic Italian food on our way to pick up some groceries and Signorvino fit the bill. A combination bar, restaurant, and wine store, we all found some things we enjoyed here between my carbonara, the cheese bread, and a variety of other fun dishes. My carbonara was not the best I had ever had, but it was quite tasty without being too greasy or too dry. Service was decent though I think we spoke too fast for her as we didn't get everything that we ordered, though there wasn't anything on our bill that we didn't actually receive. With a few locations in the area, this is not a bad introduction to true Italian food in Milan.

There were actually only a couple of sofas at the entrance, so I'm not sure why it's called "sofa" cafe. The cafe itself is so cramped, it could be organized better in my opinion. As I was sitting at my table, pretty much every person who came into the shop seemed to want to use the toilet, so the line was very long and I kept bumping into each person. As for the coffee and pastry I ordered, it was just about ok, nothing special. The service was also very slow. I wouldn't recommend this place especially if you're going in alone and want to spend some time working or to read a book.

Not the best in the world but certainly better than the average. I would highly recommend the Moscow Donkey for a warm summers day as it was very refreshing! The only thing I would mention is the service was pretty poor. It took us about 10-15minutes to get our orders taken, and then we had to wait at least another 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive. If you're not in any rush (like us) then it's perfectly fine, but I would imagine it being quite annoying if you had somewhere to be afterwards. Overall it was above average drinks, below average service and a great relaxed ambience.
