One of the shops was this little gem. Olive oil, cheese, meat, some fish, wine... All you need for a nice little cold platter of italian specialties. Wine you can get in bottles (cheap), or you bring your own bottle and fill it from one of the steel tanks (even cheaper - red or white). The meat (a lovely, juicy sausage with cheese inside) and wine were both of good quality and the meat really looked homemade, surely not from a big-production factory. The guys behind the counter were nice and friendly and - even we both didn't really understand each other due to the language barrier - we got what we wanted. Support small shops like this - prices were low and quality high. A nice little place!

The service was also good, and the staff were friendly and kept things moving despite how busy it was. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because the restaurant was absolutely scorching hot inside and extremely packed. It made the meal a little less comfortable than it could have been. Other than that, it was a great place to eat with quality Italian food. If they can improve the temperature and crowding, it would easily be a five-star experience.
