To be generous, perhaps they do not have the expertise to diagnose psoriatic arthritis, but bringing records of my history were ignored. Career-related, have had cortisone injections many times. This residual pain will not go away because it is now nerve damage. Have found good care elsewhere and now seeing a Reumatologist for psoriatic arthritis.. medication should help and my new Orthopedist has prescribed p/t stressing surgery will make this worse and not better. "Don't let anyone suggest surgery." In requesting records, the TxH&K doctor did call back and he is sorry. No suggestion of p/t and I do not take prescription pain killers. For colder days have used a cane or a walker sporatically. Hoping I am not totally dependent on walking aids moving forward. Additional X-rays at my current Orthopedist indicate both knees are the same in terms of moderate arthritis.. clearly nerve damage to my left knee.. Whether their staff has medical training I do not know.

The office staff is personable, pleasant and professional. We drive 1.5 hrs to get to the Flower Mound office and it's worth every mile. Both my husband & I have been seeing him for several years. This office also has physicians with other specialties, such as feet and shoulders. Nice dr, but more importantly, he is highly knowledgeable and communicates clearly with patients. Pretty unique! Next issue was addressed by Dr Even. He has a great group, can't speak highly enough about both Dr Even and his PA Ambrosia. Amazing team. Couple years and I'm back with a hip replacement. Once again, Dr Seroyer does an outstanding job. Back on my feet in 2 weeks. Another 2 years roll by and again I need to see Dr Even. Had to have another fusion and they found a small cyst in L3. After recuperating I was good as new. My latest adventure was another spine issue and Dr Even and his team were just as professional as they were the other 2 times. Still recuperating from the last one. Over my 10 years experience, The Surgery skills and desire to get you up and going again are the best there is. As with all offices, changes have been made and sadly not all for the better. Thankfully, the team of Dr Even and Ambrosia are still intact and I would call them again tomorrow if my back needs work. If my other knee and hip need work, Dr Seroyer will get the call. There are issues getting to see the Drs due to schedules and as such, appointments are given to the doctors PA. Thank goodness Dr Even has an excellent PA with Ambrosia. Never worry about visit with them. They are the Best Drs around. That's the reason the PROs use Dr Meister, Dr Seroyer and Dr Even and I fully understand wht.

If you need surgery you're a priority but after that, get in line. While some aspects of the practice are as good as they were 5-7 years, others have significantly eroded . Scheduling and communication are two of the biggest negative changes - not sure why, actually, just based on recent experience with a surgeon's medical assistant and surgery scheduler. Our experience included not receiving return phone calls when promised, not honoring commitments to appointments as discussed, and these are things that we as patients can evaluate - as opposed to how great the surgery was.

The only positive thing I can say about this practice is that Dr. Rodriguez is an absolutely amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely great at what he does. Unfortunately, the staff and care team surrounding him have made this one of the worst experiences we have EVER had with a medical provider. The level of disorganization, lack of communication, and complete disregard for patient needs is honestly unacceptable. Orders are repeatedly sent to the wrong locations, prescription orders are never sent as they should be, and trying to get anyone to correct these issues or provide even the most basic assistance is nearly impossible. These are not minor inconveniences. These are issues that directly impact a patient's ability to receive timely and appropriate medical care. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone. The care team line goes straight to voicemail, only for you to be told that the mailbox is full. When you attempt to call the main office for assistance, you are either hung up on or transferred right back to the same care team line that DOES NOT WORK. It is a never-ending cycle of being passed around with absolutely no resolution, accountability, or concern for the patient. What makes this experience even more upsetting is the complete lack of patient-focused care. There is no sense of urgency, no attention to detail, no willingness to help, and seemingly no understanding that patients are relying on this office to coordinate important aspects of their medical treatment. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase down prescriptions, track down orders, or practically beg someone to answer the phone and do their job. This is, without question, the worst experience we have ever had with a medical provider's staff. It is incredibly unfortunate because Dr. Rodriguez truly deserves better representation from the team supporting him. A great physician can only do so much when the people responsible for coordinating patient care consistently fail to follow through. No matter how wonderful a doctor may be, it is simply not worth being treated this poorly or having to fight this hard to receive basic medical assistance. I sincerely hope Dr. Rodriguez and the leadership at Arlington Orthopedics take these concerns seriously because the current level of service is unacceptable. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and supported throughout their care, not ignored, dismissed, or left without answers. Dr. Rodriguez deserves five stars. Unfortunately, the experience with his staff and care team makes it incredibly difficult to recommend this practice to anyone.
