A typical botanical garden, which is governed by the university of Vienna. They have a lot of different sections. Alpine, steppe, medical herbs, edible plants.. Rarities.. Gifts from royal families. The place is not big, but has enough to offer. For a place near to the centre, yup will be able to switch off from city life. Let's not forget the major highlights next door the belvedere. I have been there both professionally (studying medical herbs) and for leisure.. It never gets boring.
