I thoroughly enjoyed the Römermuseum.
The highlight for me was the excavations area, where you can see the officers' quarters in the old fortress. It was especially interesting to learn about the ingenious heating system they used -- they built in large air pockets underneath the floors and in hollow bricks in the wall, through which heated air could move through. The museum exhibits also include many artifacts, as well as some cool videos that give virtual 3D views of what the fortress and buildings must have looked like. The museum has English translations for most of the text.
Entry is free on the first Sunday of each month.
