The seafood seemed fresh (a good point) the salad was a sad mixtures of out of season veggies submerged by sauce. The place was a bit dark and gloomy, seemingly waiting for the next tourist bus. If you look for a big place able to accomodate a big group and don't care much about the food or the atmosphere, then go there.

Fridays, Saturdays and sundays are mostly busy and you might have to wait for approximately an hour to get your orders. I flew all the way from the US with my friends to show them the wonderful Bauhaus architecture of the Kornhaus. We were planning on having dinner on the patio so I asked the waitress if they had an English menu before being seated. She grunted and shoved a menu at me. This older woman was the rudest and most unpleasant person I've come across in all of Germany. Quite a shame that such an ogre should represent the Kornhaus. Architecture and renovation gets 5 stars but her rude and contemptuous behavior towards customers rates less than 1 star! This woman is a disgrace to the hospitality industry. Management needs to sack her and retrain the staff. The Kornhaus deserves better.
