There's also a bar and you can purchase ice cream. I was seated quickly "you can sit anywhere", and I ordered a standard size pizza salame and a beer. While waiting I was served a free appetizer- a bruschetta and a freshly baked mini pizza bun and some pesto cream. A welcome surprise! Bruschetta and bun were great, the cream seemed to be pesto mayonnaise which I didn't like. Some olive oil would have been better, but oh well. I also got a paper napkin. Big deal, right? Right! This was the nicest paper napkin I've ever seen! It felt like linen, and I had to check twice. The printed logo was the giveaway. Anyway, then the pizza came. Tasted great, looked great, tasted great. Authentic. And huge! Too large to finish for most people. I paid €17 for pizza and a beer, which is not cheap but not expensive either. So overall, I recommend this place!

Mustafa was the lead front desk person both times and he gets 5 stars for doing everything and being so helpful.

Absolutely Disgraceful - Do Not Support This Place…read more This restaurant was a complete disaster -- not just because of the awful food, but because of the inhumane way they treat their staff. During my visit, I witnessed the head waitress verbally abusing a young Indian woman, clearly new and still learning. She screamed at her in front of everyone instead of offering guidance or support. It was cruel and completely unprofessional. What shocked me even more was that I was the only one who spoke up. The rest of the room sat in silence, wearing disgusted expressions but saying nothing. It was heartbreaking. The place was severely understaffed -- I saw at least 7 different people get up and go to the counter to pay because the overwhelmed team couldn't keep up. And when I tried to address the issue with the owner, he gaslighted me and brushed it off like I was making things up. The waitress even joined in, treating me like I was the problem -- rather than owning their absolutely shameful behavior. The food? Preheated, bland, and borderline inedible. Not even worth mentioning beyond that. If you care about how people are treated -- both customers and employees -- please DO NOT come to this place. It was one of the most uncomfortable and upsetting dining experiences I've ever had. No one should be supporting a business that treats its staff this way.

The tables were beautifully adorned with folded cloth napkins, professional china and silverware presentations, and red and white whine glasses. The place was also spotlessly clean. When I opened the menu, however, the prices were lower than I had expected. Many of the entrees were going for 12-13 Euro. My acquaintance and I each started off with an apple juice, and shared the basket of bread, which came accompanied with three different spreads. That was where I stopped, however. She ordered a tomato and mozzarella salad, which looked ok. Of course, the slices of thick mozzarella looked delicious, but my acquaintance complained about the not-so-ripe tomatoes. We capped our meal with a coffee and cappucino. My coffee came with sugar and a little cookie, and her cappucino looked like a cappucino should. The ambience was great, and I need to return to give a better review of the food. From what I've discovered thus far, it is OK. Next time, if it is nice outside, I would also like to sit on the patio. (They also had ice cream there I did not try.)

Über den Namen unseres Restaurants Die Bezeichnung Petri leitet sich von der benachbarten Sankt-Petri-Kirche ab. Ein Förder ist ein Einschnitt in das hohe Gelände am Elbufer, durch den man von der höher gelegenen Stadt an das Ufer der Elbe gelangte. Da es mehrere solcher Förder gab, wurden sie durch die Bezeichnung der in der Nähe befindlichen Kirchen unterschieden. Der Förder wurde bereits 1725 beseitigt. Der westliche Teil der Straße hieß daher ab circa 1750 Petersberg. Für den Bereich zum Elbufer hin hielt sich die Bezeichnung jedoch bis heute.
