I was at the ER on July 14, 2023 because I cracked my head and needed 7 staples. As other reviews…read morehave stated, it was a long wait to be seen. I arrived at about 245pm and was discharged at 720pm (when I left, the waiting room was more than double than when I arrived). That being said, my experience is that hospitals range from 2-12 hours wait, so although I felt like I was in crisis, I was sitting near the check in desk and the people they triaged before me FOR SURE were in more of a crisis that I was. Everyone was very nice to me. The check in person, the triage nurse, the RN who gave me my tetanus shot, and the doctor who treated me were all very nice and attentive (even when I was in the waiting room, when I needed more gauze or ice, they were very quick to give it to me). Maybe when I get my bill I will have something bad to say, but I thought I was treated well at this hospital.

X-rays taken they claimed no break of right elbow - gave me 2 Tylenol and told me I could leave - did not show me where to get out of there - ended getting lost finally person who took payment walked me out to my waiting ride. Had no sling or anything to stablize the arm. Days later went to PCP who did another x-ray and guess what. The elbow was broken. Due to time between leaving that hospital broken bone had shifted requiring surgery which I now have plates in place to correct the break that they dropped the ball on

"Dr" Patel couldnt even recognize the characteristics of a swollen nymph lodes, lol. He then accused me of using Fentanyl and believed the bump was side effect due to fentanyl use. I eventually went to the ER and the ER doctors told me my PCP needs to be referring me to a specialist at this point. So, I reached out to Patel, asking to be referred to a specialist, and he denied. He believed he knew more than the ER doctors at Newton Wellesley hospital. It this Patel guy is a doctor, then I'm an astronaut

I have an overall 4 out of 5 experience here. I like Dr. Bean. I did see someone else today and…read morethere was a specialist I saw two a few months back and I got interrogated a few times about Mucinex with the specialist and my iron with the lady doctor I recently saw. For the Mucinex, I was at a follow up visit and I had no cold symptoms at the time and I was asked why I didn't take Mucinex and I said, today I do not have any cold symptoms. Today it was why I didn't take iron. I just transferred from another doctor who never prescribed me iron but gave me the infusion so I didn't have to have the side effects of the pills and they never prescribed the pills. There was no non-compliance on my end with either of the situations. I felt with both of those doctors I had to break the ice a little bit and trust them a little more after listening to them talk for a bit and trying to have nice communication with them. While the bed side manner is a little challenging and blunt with the interrogation, I understand that a doctor's job is to diagnose and that is all that matters. For that I have to say, I am very grateful for them being very thorough and explaining things as well. So I can't say my experience was bad at all only a little intimidating at first.

She didn't deliver my son, she didn't check on me after I had him until the day we got to leave the hospital! She did not detect that I was a high risk pregnancy(even though I told her ALL of my symptoms) and then I find out the hard way that I have preeclampsia (which can be detected in my urine) which leads to all sorts of complications and possible very serious birth defects. Then, when I get to the hospital having insane contractions, I have all these "students" Doogie Howser wannabe doctors (that I don't remember giving the okay to being there) and they kept asking me the same questions over and over again!!! My name, address, if I had a history of this and that over and over again while I was in excruciating pain and could barely talk!!! The nurse that help deliver my son was awesome and some of the others but the nurse I had to deal with the most was the worst! She was very rude and scolded me about how I was breastfeeding and not doing it right!!! Well maybe she should do her job right? Like, maybe when you act on top of the world and you're checking my sons and I vitals 50 times a day, you might've noticed while he was sleeping he had low oxygen levels?!?! Maybe then when I made plans to go home after 4 days of being there with her stank ass...I would've been able to take my son home! Because she wasn't doing her job(in my opinion) we don't know he had to be put into the baby NICU!!!!!!! (On our take home day) My son is big and healthy NOW but has to have an eye surgery (maybe caused by the preeclampsia) but there is no proof. My symptoms were so bad I could barely stand up or walk during pregnancy and was forced to have a c-section(because he was breech) then my c-section scar felt Infected so I called the hospital and told them how sore and infected it looked and they had me send pics instead of come in! They acted like it was all normal until it started oozing!!! Yea, pretty gross I know. Hurt like crazy took forever to heal and I couldn't even wear pants without pain. Besides my handsome, perfect, smart and adorable son being born...was hands down the worst experience of my life!!! Should've stayed at South Shore hospital like everybody told me and stayed with my original OB at crown colony in Quincy! For, a big thing like child birth...you sort of want doctors that know what they're doing. Or better yet...even show up?! ‍‍‍
