While coming to Boston Pizza here in Drumheller. I figured being from Edmonton that all the bigger chain restaurants would be the same. Well within reason. This was a bad assumption on my part. Mine and my daughters Cesar salad came out with basically no dressing. Then my meal of ribs which I would once again assume would be ok. Came out way over cooked. The mashed potatoes were crunchy. This meal was far less then the normal standard that Boston pizza has been known for. read more

We came by in our visit to the museum for lunch. We were seated fairly quickly by a nice person and introduced to our waiter. Drinks came quickly and we got some crayons and an activity for my 5-year-old. The wait for a pizza and some pasta was a little long (but reasonable) considering we were there prior to the lunch shift change. Our table was handled by our server and another nice lady, probably a manager. The food was, hot, flavourful without any issues. The restaurant was clean and organized, the restroom was small, but also clean, well stocked, and organized as well. Overall, this location did a good job at fulfilling our dining requirements, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I did find the parking a little confusing when we came in off the Main Street, but it's not a big issue. read more

Spent the day touring around the Badlands & Drumheller and needed some fuel. Sadly due to it being Easter long weekend, most of the little cafes and restaurants in Drumheller were closed. For lunch! On a Saturday! So bummed! We try hard to support local but when local decides to shut down for the day, I guess they don't need our business. We haven't had the best luck with BP's in the past (other locations) but our options were slim so we gave it a go. And we wanted a glass of wine. In all fairness to this particular restaurant, we have eaten at this location in the past and had a good experience. So we were hopeful. In we went and we were seated promptly and just before the restaurant filled up. Yikes. Our server was doing double duty going between the lounge and helping in the restaurant and she was awesome. Didn't miss a beat. Kudos to her. Our food came as ordered, no mishaps (this is my past alter ego speaking), food was hot and spot on. From shrimp tacos, boston brute to a sausage pasta, it was good and hit the spot. We left full, happy and ready to take on more adventures. read more

We will never go here again. When we arrived, a woman came up to us and said, "How can I help you?" I was floored. I didn't know what to say. I thought it was obvious we were there to eat. Then, we had a waitress come to our table who seemed to be high. She was acting like we were at a dinner theater, which was kind of weird, but she wasn't the worst part of the supper. My husband had just received some very bad news and wasn't thinking straight. He ordered an item off the menu that had meat in it (he is a vegetarian) and when he took a bite he realized his mistake. He felt horrible about it and was going to try to eat around the meat sauce, but I called over a waiter to tell him what had happened. Having worked in the restaurant industry, I thought this guy would be understanding and offer something else. However, he couldn't have been worse. In fact, I have never had such a rude and inconsiderate waiter in my life. He acted like my husband was trying to pull off the scam of a lifetime! He told us that we would have to pay for the dish and then offered my husband a salad or some noodles with sauce. I couldn't believe this waiter was THAT rude and condescending to my husband. I told my husband to get what he wanted (not what the jerk was trying to push on him) and then told the waiter that we would pay for it all. We sent the original dish back because we were not going to eat. It took over 15 minutes for my husband's order to come out and when the waiter brought it back he threw it on the table and visibly annoyed he said, "Sorry for the wait," and left without asking us if we wanted anything else. The bill came and included the dish my husband sent back and had taken one little bite out of. We expected that because the waiter had been so rude about it, but I wanted to tell the manager how horrible his staff was, so I asked a younger girl working their to see the manager. My husband went out to the car so I could deal with it. The same waiter came to our table and asked if there was something he could help me with. I told him I was waiting for someone else, and he informed me that HE WAS THE MANAGER! THE MANAGER treated us like crap! I couldn't believe it! I told him how rude he had been and how my husband was upset and not thinking straight. The guy took the dish off the bill and apologized saying how bad he felt. I didn't buy it one bit. Sometimes people aren't thinking straight. Sometimes people get very bad news that affects their life forever. And, sometimes people in the service industry will come across these people and affect their lives in a negative or positive way. The MANAGER at this Boston Pizza had a very negative affect on my husband and I and made our day much worse than it already was. I can only hope he thinks next time before he acts like a jerk. I hope that someone else who has had their life turned upside down doesn't have to suffer from his lack of compassion and professionalism. If this was the last place on earth to eat, I would starve. I will NEVER support a place of business that makes their customers feel like crap. Update:I wrote into Boston Pizza to complain and another manager from Drumheller wanted to talk to me about my experience. I responded that I had told them everything I need to tell them. Then, she never responded back. Usually a successful restaurant will offer a gift card or something, but this Boston Pizza couldn't have been bothered to even ask. Came in for dinner Sunday night from Beaumont ab where we eat at bp's fairly regularly and enjoy it. Upon being seated we attempted to order a pitcher of beer and our food . the menu seemed off as there were only 4 pastas to choose from the waitress then came back and stated they were out of coors light we tried for another and were shot down. On the third attempt we managed to get a pitcher of I think was beer but tasted like swamp water and only served two glasses. The waitress said they had made a mistake and given us the wrong siZe pitcher , hungry i ordered something but really missed the bacon chipotle pene. If it wasn't for the server they would have gotten 1 star. Ordered pizza and nachos (with no onions) after a lengthy wait the food arrived - with onions. So of course pointed this out to waitress who immediately went to rectify. Next batch came out with no meat - don't care what the manager said there was no meat! She did offer us a bowl of additional meat, which I guess would have covered our original missing meat issue. And then this batch was completely inedible, the chips were not cooked and were like bullets. After talking with the manager who didn't really seem to care they took them off the bill. Yikes! If I was a manager at this restaurant I'd seriously consider firing most of my staff. Worst service ever! We wanted to sit out on the patio but were refused even though there were about 4 tables empty. No explanation. We had a server who looked about 14 and didn't know what a margarita was. She then came back telling us we couldn't order it because they ran out of slush. Then when I asked for anything else summery that I could order, she said she didn't know. We were a party of 8, 4 hungry kids and 4 adults. When arrived they were 3 female workers chatting behind the greeting desk. After about 5 minutes one of the female asked how many and walked away. When she came back she asked us to follow her to where another female in a floral dress was pushing tables together and then asked us to sit. But before we could sit another male worker came walking by made her rearrange table in a different way. Finally we got the kids in their sits, complaining they were hungry, the coloring came and that seems settled them for a bit The restaurant was fairly steady, we had one large party the middle of their meal behind us and a empty booth beside us. When the waiter arrived he took our drink order and the kids orders (chicken nuggets and pizza), we told him to feed them first. While we were waiting for his return another person was sitting a party of 5 in the booth beside us. He came back with the drinks and took our order. About 25 minutes passes by and the kids had finished their drinks and are getting restless still no food, finally our food arrives just after the booth received theirs. The fries and pasta were cold and the cheese on the burger was not melted and food portions so different on each plate. The kids meals were cold to but they didn't seem to mine, as they were starving at this point. We called for the waiter told him the problem, he said he was sorry and took our plates away. When the food came back us, the booth beside us was leaving. The food must of been zapped in the microwave, as the buns on the beef dip and hamburger were very chewy. We were hungry now so we just ate it and kids were ready for dessert. I felt very sorry for the waiter, as his section was far too busy for him and had no help from the Manager, no teamwork in this restaurant. I'm pretty sure he never even told the Manager, as he or she should have came to our table. Maybe he was afraid too. We paid for our meal which was $120.00, no deduction for the mess up. We visited your establishment Dec 6, 2020. We witnessed some of the staff not adhering to public health guidelines. We were in your lounge eating when staff entered the business from the staff entrance and came out into the public area of the lounge without any P.P.E. then proceeded to help themselves to beverages from behind the bar with no facemask coverings. I voiced my concerns and was told that staff required no protective coverings while behind the bar. I do believe this is an outright violation of public health guidelines. Also, one of the staff members was only using a bandana as a face covering. I do believe that the recommendation is for two layers of a minimum of a 600 thread count of Egyptian cotton and a layer of silk in between. I did do some research and no manufacturer anywhere makes a bandana with a 600 thread count. This is also a questionable violation. Your staff is endangering the very well being of the people that are supporting your facility.... the very people that help ensure that they have a job. read more

We where visiting from out of town, it took about 10 minutes to be greeted by the hostess. We sat there for 20 minutes and no one even came for a drink order. Normally, we just would have said something, but it was deserted for staff, which is surprising because there was maybe 3 families in the restaurant.
