Hey this place has super slow service. Not the waitresses fault by any means - kitchen fell behind and instead of notifying customers of the problem we were left unattended and hungry. Got our apps which were cold, drinks were good except the fishbowl was half empty - Manager comes to see what the problem was and asked us how they could fix it! Not cool we left... read more

I was so fascinated by the "worst Boston Pizza on the face of the planet" remark by a previous Yelper (there were only 2 reviews, small town) that I decided I must be a witness to this crime against humanity. Well, don't get call the UN just yet. I had quite a nice time having a few beers and a bite at the bar. Sure, it is a chain restaurant. I graded it on a curve, it is a 4/5 when compared to other Boston Pizzas. Eat local if you can..... Alas, I am in Cold Lake for 2 weeks and local options run out quickly. Had a great chat with the bartender and staff, it was slow - and like every other human in Canada (previous reviewer excluded) the employees were awesome and incredibly nice. I even got invited to a "bush party." That is apparently a thing in Canada. I will be in attendance Thursday. I am told there will be a bonfire. I am excited. The beer was cold, with local options. I was informed the menu was recently revamped. It is quite large, with something for everyone. I had a wrap, it was fine. Tasty even. Fresh enough. Tasted a couple bites of collegues' pizza. Pizza was good too. I haven't visited a ton of Boston Pizzas, but I am very comfortable refuting the "worst Boston Pizza on the face of the planet" accusation. read more

Excellent food, however this is the only real family restaurant in town so it gets extremely busy. My suggestion is to sit on the bar side and avoid the rush if you are not with kids in tow. Service is not bad. read more

l was looking forward to Boston's salmon quinoa power bowl, as it is one of my personal faves. Upon receiving my lunch, I realized that there was not any quinoa in it, just rice. When I brought this to the attention of the server, I was told that they have no quinoa, but can still serve it, as it is a "rice quinoa " blend. To me, this is false advertisement as there was NO quinoa in it at all!! Also, you still cannot charge the same amount as before if there is no quinoa in it. I was terribly disappointed. The server was great and offered me something else, but that wasn't the point. You cannot advertise quinoa power bowl if there is no quinoa in the bowl, just a bowl of rice!!! read more

This is the best Boston Pizza I have ever been to. Staff are friendly, attentive, and personable while still remaining professional and doing their jobs well. The food is always great and if there is any sort of problem problem, the servers will do whatever they can to make your visit better. It's so nice to be greeted with a smile and thanked when we leave. The menu changes often and always introduces something new and delicious. Boston Pizza is our go to for date nights and weekday lunches. read more

This is one of the worst Boston Pizza restaurants on the face of the planet. The service is awful, as is the food.....the pizza toppings only cover half of the pizza!!.....the ONLY reason I ever returned to this place (unfortunately too many times to count) was because of the lack of dining options in town as well as the fact that my husband and I had to regularly entertain customers on occasion. My husband has had food poisoning twice there......We were very happy when OJ's and the Sawmill came to town ;) Save your money.. read more

I've had very bad experiences of what I'm being charged compared to what the menu actually says not to mention one time I waited 3 hours for my food and was not offered any compensation but the reason was cause somebody else got my more expensive order and all I got was a longer wait!! After extremely long wait times and messed up orders 3 times in a row I said I wanted compensation and I got dessert! I was ordering regularly for awhile but too many screw ups for the price you pay! read more

Brutal is the easiest way to explain the service. Not only did they bring my wife the wrong dish but rather than correct it, the server said "I'm just going to give you this and charge you what you ordered" and walked away as if that was the end of it. I thought the purpose of going to a restaurant was you were able to order and receive what you ordered rather than settling for what they gave you. On top of that, the bill charged us for all three dishes - my order, the dish my wife ordered, and the dish my wife received. Wouldn't recommend unless you are short of options. read more
