My husband was having a civilized conversation with a fellow member the day after the presidential election when suddenly the director of the fitness center broke in uninvited and launched into an unprovoked verbal attack based on false assumptions about his political views. After staying away for a year and a half, we recently considered rejoining because of a health need for specific classes that are not available elsewhwere. However, the management refused to speak to their employee about his bullying behavior or to mediate in any way. I would not recommend this club to anyone who expects to feel safe and respected.

Cambridge Atlantis will not give partial refund although paid 14 months and used only 4 months of pool. And, Dedham 25 minutes from paid membership of Cambridge. Atlantis Cambridge unresponsive and I sent over 10 emails and 5 voicemails and no response with any form of refund as they closed Cambridge. Poor customer service not giving refund...

As for the staff they have always been helpful with any questions I had. If you plan on discontinuing your membership just remember to give someone a heads up at the front desk. You have to give them notice 15 days or something before your next billing cycle to get your paper work done and on time. Just wish they had more room and courts. Table tennis clubs aren't common in Massachusetts and there's only a handful that are worth seeking out. This is definitely one of them. Wife and husband duo Phyllis and Henry and the friendly duo who created Mastiff TTC and who host players three times a week and who provide high-quality, Olympic-vetted Joola tables. There's five tables available and sessions typically are three hours long and only cost $8 per walk-in. That's a fantastic deal considering that you don't need to bring a partner and it's also much cheaper than the $15 walk-ins at the MATTBC in Waltham. So whether you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced player, if you want to play, this is definitely a great place to come and I cannot recommend it enough. Everyone I've come across here is very friendly and the diversity of levels and styles makes attending this place interesting. They also have plenty of balls available so the pace is pretty quick. Best of all, since it's in the back of a former school, there's also plenty of free parking once you go around the building (the door to Mastiff is in the back, on the left) which is also nice.

I was impressed yet again by the top tier conditions of the entire course, from the manicured tee boxes to the fast greens. Some of my favorite holes were hole 6 and 10, 486 and 520 yard par 5s. Every hole was enjoyable yet challenging in its own way. Had a great Sunday playing at Dedham and hope to be back one day. Hats off to Seth Raynor, beautifully designed.

All the par 5's are far too short,…read more3 of the par 4's are driveable for big hitters, this is what happens to classic courses when there are 460cc head drivers, golf balls that travel 350 yards, such a shame. Many courses fall into the technical obsolescence category; Woodland, Wellesley, DC&PC, Charles River, Brae Burn, etc. All older, classical courses that have been dwarfed by the technology of today's golf equipment!
