They both are very well credentialed and I feel they really know what they are doing. The sliding scale is so helpful and the community room is very calming and relaxing. There may be others getting acupuncture at the same time but it is not at all intrusive. I feel each person has there own little private space. You can really tell they care about how you are feeling and are motivated by the healing that they are doing for you. I am so glad I took a chance and am continuing to go as I am seeing improvement.

While trying to get pregnant the second time around she told me to see her at Stepping Stone for Arvigo therapy and now that I'm pregnant I see her monthly for therapeutic massages. Doctors told us he wouldn't last the summer, and they immediately put him on an aggressive chemotherapy regimen. During his treatment, we also decided to look into "alternative" medicine. By the grace of God, we found our way to Yi Luo and Eastway Acupuncture & Wellness. As soon as we met her, we were immediately comforted by her gentle nature. Though she didn't know us, we could also tell she cared and desperately wanted to help. In addition to getting weekly acupuncture, Yi recommended a combination of herbal remedies and bone broth soup. We did everything she told us to, though some thought it odd that I'd give my husband a warm foot bath (with herbs!) every night before bed. And I won't lie - he didn't love the taste of the soup, but he gulped it down while I watched, arms folded, until he finished every drop. When we went in to get the results of my husband's first CT scan, I asked his oncologist what a "good" result might be. His response was, "About a 30% reduction in overall tumor volume." We were astounded when we learned my husband had a 94% reduction in tumor volume. In July of 2014, after my husband finished his chemotherapy, we went in for another CT scan. I'll never forget his oncologist turning around his computer monitor for us to see the scans. I remember leaning in for a closer look. "Where are the tumors?" I asked. I remember the scans looking like Swiss cheese when he was first diagnosed. The doctor looked at us, and with a kind smile, hunched his shoulders and said, "Gone." My husband was declared disease-free by CT scan that day. There was no explanation by any of his doctors. He'd achieved the impossible. He was called "a miracle." Nine years later, my husband is still cancer free. Now I have no idea exactly why we were given this gift, but I do know that Yi's care contributed to my husband's healing. I don't believe there's any evidence that acupuncture can help cure cancer, but I do believe it relieves stress and lessens side effects of treatment. Those two things and the genuine care he received absolutely contributed to my husband's healing. When I developed chronic pain a couple of years ago, I knew exactly where to go. I now see Yi every week. She's still the same - dedicated, caring, optimistic. I'd recommend Yi and anyone in her office. You couldn't possibly find better alternative care.

After 12 sessions of physical therapy I still was feeling persistent discomfort. Jess applied the tuina massage technique and through the skillfully applied pressure, I felt a physical release and loosening unlike anything I have ever experienced. Jess also picked up on a structural trait (never identified by the physical therapists) that could be contributing to my degenerating rotator cuff. She recommended some exercises that would help with this as well. There is a marked improvement in my shoulder and I continue to do the recommended exercises. I was in the area and I knew he could help with the very bad muscle strain in my back. The one think I know for sure, is that Kan will reduce my pain by 50 per cent the first time around. That has been my experience. Yesterday was no exception to the rule. Kan goes above and beyond to help his patients. He is very caring, compassionate, professional, and trustworthy. I recommend Kan very highly for many ailments that may be causing anyone unnecessary pain and discomfort. He also has some great herbal formulations that has helped me throughout the 8 years that I've been going to see him. Kan works fervently during the acupuncture session to ensure that he's doing everything within his power to alleviate my pain. He also uses moxa and cupping to help in the process. I especially love the moxa, as it truly does help with painful muscle strains. The other attractive factor about seeing Kan, is the fact that his prices are very reasonable in comparison to other acupuncture practices in the area. He spends a lot of time with me every time, to ensure that he has alleviated my pain. I've called other places to see about their prices when I've been unable to see Kan, and those prices are just too expensive in comparison to Kan's prices.
