I am still angry enough weeks later to come back and write this review because the way TD Garden…read morehandled this was ridiculous. First, the bag policy. Apparently customers are just supposed to magically know about it. My wife and I bought tickets for the TWICE concert about a week before, and nowhere on the ticket site was this made clear in a way that actually helped us. We only found out after arriving that only bags under a certain size are allowed inside. If your bag is too big, you have to go downstairs to bag check and pay $15 for them to hold it. So not only are you inconvenienced, you also get charged extra because TD Garden could not be bothered to clearly warn people ahead of time. If we had known, we would have left the bag in the car. Simple. What made it much worse was security. I do not know if they work for TD Garden or some outside company, but they were some of the rudest, most useless people I have dealt with in a long time. From the second we got there, they had attitude. Instead of acting professional and helping people, they looked more interested in flirting, acting cool, and doing the bare minimum. They stopped us because of my wife's bag. My wife is pregnant, so she had important things in it that she needed. Instead of explaining anything clearly, all they kept saying was, "Your bag is too big, go downstairs." That was it. No real directions, no patience, no help. Since it was our first time there, we asked where exactly to go. Same answer: "Just go downstairs." We ended up following other confused people to find the bag check area. That made it obvious this was not just us. A lot of people clearly had no idea about this policy either. Honestly, it started feeling like a scam. So many people show up unaware, get sent downstairs, and suddenly have to pay $15. That should have been clearly stated before people even bought tickets. Then came the worst part: getting the bag back. After the concert, every single person who checked a bag had to go to one single bag claim area. One. For an entire event. So now you have one huge crowded line of tired, frustrated people all trying to get their stuff back at the same time. Whoever thought that was a good system should be embarrassed. My wife is pregnant. She could not stand in that packed line that long, especially with nowhere to sit. There were no chairs, no sitting area, no accommodation, nothing. Just a crowded mess. And because it was only the two of us, I was not about to leave my pregnant wife standing there alone while I ran around trying to fix it. So we explained the situation to security and told them clearly that my wife is pregnant and could not stand in that line like that. Their response? "Get back in line." No concern, no solution, no basic decency. Just "get back in line." One guard told me they could not help. The guard my wife spoke to laughed in her face. Laughed. That was the point where this stopped being an inconvenience and became disgusting. The only reason this got resolved at all was because another person near the front of the line was kind enough to get our bags for us. A complete stranger showed us more compassion than the entire security staff. To that person, thank you again. We are still incredibly grateful. That is why TD Garden gets one star. If you are going to have a strict bag policy, clearly warn people before they arrive. And if you are going to force people into bag check, then at least have a better system and some basic accommodations for people who physically cannot stand in a long crowded line. Most of all, hire better security, because the people working that night were rude, dismissive, immature, and completely unhelpful.

I had two great seats I could have purchased from ACE Tickets and passed on them due to the tickets Higs posted for sale. They later sent us an email stating they had posted the seats in error and canceled our sale. They have yet to respond to him with a solution to their error. He has already filed a complaint with the BBB and plans on filing one with MA Attorney Generals office. We normally always purchase our tickets for all events threw either ACE or Stub Hub and I recommend using a service provider that finds a way to honor their mistakes and not pass it on to their customers. I myself purchase between 10k to 20k a year in sporting events, concerts etc. I have been too both of the Patriots past two Super Bowls. ACE tickets had once sold me Celtics playoff tickets and when I went to the office by the Garden to pick them up before the game, they figured out the sales associate accidentally booked the game prior. I spoke to the manager and after a few minutes and him making a couple calls. ACE managed to get us into the section that has its own bar area and box seating, keep in mind, this was a sold out game. This is what a FIRST CLASS operation does, it corrects their own mistakes at no matter what the cost is to them. It just takes one upset consumer to pass on good or bad exp with companies to those who are considering doing business with them. This is my first and last time using Higs Tickets unless they honor their error. If Higs does the right thing, I will come back on here and edit this review, if it still views as you read it now, well that tells you everything you need to know about them.

I bought the tickets about 24 hours in advance, and during the checkout process I was asked where I wanted to pick them up. I live near Fenway and that's where we were having dinner before the game, so I selected the Baseball Tavern location - so convenient! Well, it turned out that they only do ticket pickup at Baseball Tavern for Red Sox games. I mean, it makes sense, but then it shouldn't be an option when you purchase tickets to other sporting events. We showed up to Baseball Tavern around 5 - it was practically empty. We followed the Higs Tickets signs to the lower level, and saw the ticket counter, but it was boarded up. I immediately called, waited on hold for a few minutes, and was told all tickets were at the Causeway Street location. I asked why Baseball Tavern was an option, and the woman didn't know but said she would let Jim (I think?) know. I wasn't totally convinced my tickets were where she said they would be, so we kinda rushed through dinner and headed to the Garden. The Causeway Street location is across the street from the Garden, right next to Harp. It is within a Dunkin Donuts - which I was not expecting - but I actually liked this setup. I felt safer as it was well-trafficked and brightly lit inside the DD. I showed my license and got my three tickets - all correct - and a receipt. The seats were great. Balcony level but a lower row, directly behind where the Bruins shoot twice, and on the aisle. Overall, I was very happy with the tickets and aside from the pickup location confusion, happy with the whole process as well. I'll certainly check out Higs' inventory before the big re-ticketing companies in the future.

Okay, it's really not glorious. But what it does have is half price day-of tickets. For those of us who would much rather spend all our money on booze but feel like we should properly entertain our friends, half price tickets are fairly glorious. The Australian friend and I were between Blue Man Group and Shear Madness. The girl behind the glass was a mediocre amount of helpful, but once we engaged her she was fine. She explained both shows to my friend who had never heard of either and gave some honest comments. (Ultimately we decided on Shear Madness because it was decided that the show was American/Boston where as Blue Man Group is spreading) We were there in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, so I can't speak to the lines. I did stop by once for Blue Man Group tickets on a Saturday and we ended up choosing dinner instead, but there were no lines with tickets still available. I will be back Bos Tix; you appeal to my wallet and to my I-want-to-pretend-to-have-any-amount-of-culture side.

I'm so glad we did because it was a fun and interesting experience. The actors are in character and passionate about their roles which makes it fun. It was interesting to hear the story of the day, what happened to some of the people who participated and how they kept the story alive for so long. Loved seeing one of the crates that was thrown over and how families kept it and some tea safe. Everyone in our group had fun and enjoyed the experience. It's definitely worth it. Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit could perform in a bathroom and it would be stellar, but both of their shows this past Friday and Saturday night were phenomenal! The Wang turned out to be a great venue. It is a beautiful historic theatre, but entry (including security) was easy and stress free. The band sounded amazing! We expected a "seated" audience, but as soon as the band took the stage, the entire audience remained on their feet swaying and enjoying the music and vibes. While I enjoyed this environment, I can see that elderly attendees, shorter patrons, or those with difficulty standing for 2+ hours might have been disappointed.
