The Slice is this cool, Boho pizza joint/bar in sunny Lethbridge in southern Alberta. I liked everything about the vibe, very laid back. Load in was super smooth and the staff very helpful. They have a great stage setup, plenty of rooms for the 5 of us (6 including belly dancer). On stage sound was great and the sound to the front was fantastic for the time I was off stage. In terms of food - the pizza is great, some of the best I've had in Alberta. There's nice options for drinks too. Fantastic venue, we'll def be back!

I received my water and drink quite quickly, and then the servers went back inside. When they did reappear, I was told that my food should be out soon. It wasn't. When my food finally arrived, I asked for another drink. I was having a Long Island Iced Tea, and the young man brought me an ordinary iced tea. When I mentioned it to yet again a new server, he assured me that no one had changed anything about my drink. I explained that he brought me the wrong drink, which he finally understood. I guess to sum up, I spent an hour baking in the sun, while the servers took little breaks in the air conditioned restaurant. Their food while good, is expensive, and their service is slow. They didn't even bring the machine out to my table so I could pay. I waited long enough, that I finally went inside to pay. I won't be back.
