This is the 2nd trip we booked thru Boscov's in Camp Hill and once again we had a great time! Tammy Groelly worked with our schedule and recommended Dreams Jade Resort in Puerto Morelos. Next time we may consider an adult only option as the place was full of children. The hotel could work on it's check in procedures as we had to wait in the lobby for a while to check in. The food was great with plenty of options! The bartenders and restaurant staff were top notch, however, the cleaning crew helped themselves to anything that wasn't in the safe including candy that we had in the fridge. We actually had to ask them to clean the room as no one came to tidy up after 2 days. The entertainment was good but I would avoid the magic show. We left after 10 minutes but found other ways to entertain ourselves. The only real problem that we had was upon booking we were offered 12 months interest free, which was not the case when it came to make the final payment, so we had to scramble to gather the cash needed to make the trip happen. Overall, a wonderful trip and will use Boscov's again! read more

We just returned from a cruise to the Caribbean that we booked through Tammy at Boscov travel. She got us good accommodations at a great price. We loved being able to sail out of Baltimore and will probably do something similar next year to break up the winter doldrums. Our agent is a relative of a friend that invited us on a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Our flight changes twice prior to the departure date. When we arrived at the airport out flight was delayed one hour. We get all checked in and go through TSA and have breakfast. While we were paying our food bill and we learned our flight was cancelled through Frontier Airlines. They had no customer service to assist us with cancellations and were instructed to call our travel agent. We phoned the travel agent for assistance on how we will be supported for an overnight stay due to the travel back home would be more than one hour. Our agent had no advice and said he was holding on line the phone with a person who used to work for Frontier. Needless to say as of today there has been $100 credit from Frontier Airlines and a pushed email to provide a review. We lost a day and half of our eight day vacation. There has been no refund or any kind from the Resort but didn't expect a refund from them since the cancellation was not caused by the Resort. The resort we were booked with, most of the employees spoke very little English. The room service was awful. 45 minutes meant two plus hours. Our sheets were no changed the entire week and we did not have the Do Not Disturb hanger on the door. The Premium package that we upgraded to when we checked in was not premium at all. We basically paid for an upgrade for an Oceanfront room. I normally do not leave the U.S. and this was a trip that I was looking forward to for months. I'm very disappointed on how our travel agent has been unresponsive. What agent partners with anyone who does not know their partners Policies and Procedures? Travel Insurance, what a joke. It covers only if you interrupt or cancel your trip. read more

We went on the Norwegian Prima cruise April 30 - May 7 sponsored by Hampden township through Boscov's. One of the big appeals to this trip was leaving out of New York and having the transportation to and from there provided by Boscov's. How wrong I was ;that was an horrendous experience!! The trip to New York was in an extremely small and uncomfortable Bailey's "van." Sixteen (there were 9 couples) people were squeezed into one van while the other four were in an SUV. The luggage was being pulled in a trailer behind the van. For some of us stuck in the van, it was a painful trip with no where to put your legs, knees, or bodies. Getting in and out of the van was difficult. We were literally on top of one another. The trip back from New York was equally painful, but for a different reason. The van was from Premier and had 23 seats so there was physically a bit more room. However, the van driver was clueless about how to get out of New York. We drove hours through Chinatown, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan. We didn't get a bathroom break until one of our group insisted we stop at an Embassy Suites hotel off the highway and ask to use their facilities. Likewise, there was no food/drink/ snack stop. We arrived home hours after we were supposed to. As I said, a big draw to this trip was the transportation provided to and from the port. But, it was a hellish experience! Not a great way to start and end a trip! In addition, some of the information we received from Boscov's at our meeting the week before was incorrect once we got on the ship. That was not a major issue, however, the agents should be better versed in the operations of said trip. read more
