I asked if I could proceed to the pick up line instead of standing in the returns line. Unfortunately , there was one person assisting both sections. Very disappointing because I was hoping to be in and out! Once I finally reached the cashier my request took about 5 seconds and I was able to leave.

As the only register open had a very long line I asked the female employee monitoring the self check out if she could open and take me as I one had 3 items . she abruptly said no I work have to wait in another long line . Then the self check out accepting cash broke and I asked if she could now help me . She said "there was nothing she could do about it ". She was very rude and not helpful at all. it's just not like this at other Targets and you lost a customer.

In fact, Boscov's was the ONLY credit card they EVER HAD! They were so cute . . . Anyway, with the decline of poor (formerly Echelon Mall) Voorhees Town Center, Boscov's is the only anchor (dept) store left here! They have me captive and now I'm a customer AND fan! The ladies dept has beautiful formal dresses; the children's dept has nice clothing and great deals and I really "mopped up" on Champion brand (heavy weight) tees & shorts for my son a few weeks ago. I splurged a bit on myself in both the jewelry & home decor departments. I'm guessing I got bargains due to the post holiday season. I bought two beautiful pair of earrings (one, rhinestone stars - $8; the other, abalone oblong ovals $15). Lastly, I got a set of precious/beautiful mother/babies set of Oleg Cassini crystal ducks (see photo). They were half priced. There was a huge assortment of animals (hummingbirds, penguins, fish) and insects (butterflies, dragonflies), etc. (mushrooms, a clam with a "pearl", paperweights) to choose from! Last month I got a pair of shoes for work that I just love (so comfy) plus a few 6-packs of ankle socks for my daughter for only $1.99/ea! A bonus to shopping here is that you can get in and out quickly. The mall is all but dead now and there are usually more than enough cashiers around. They still even offer free gift wrap in Customer Service (lower level near toys). Lastly,check out the candy department with Godiva and Asher's if you're in a bind for a gift or want a yummy treat. You can even just buy a single chocoalte covered pretzel, etc., if you have a whooley!

Reasonable pricing with lots of sale items. Hardest part was finding a sales person for help as many of the checkout counters are closed. Staffing is at a limited.

I ended up taking a chance and trying to see if the band would go over my shirt and fasten ok. Ended up with a pretty Bali "t shirt" bra for 7.99. I had forgotten to pack a decent bra for a wedding we were attending. We were waiting forever and ever AMEN to check out. If I hadn't been the next in line and if I hadn't needed the bra I would've walked out. There's zero sense of urgency with waiting customers. It didn't help that one insanely rude customer was rung up then decided to leave the register mid transaction to continue shopping either. Just RUDE! She didn't come back for a while- so much so the cashier had to play seek n find. So glad I do t live in Jersey or will ever have the occasion to go to this Ross again (and I LOVE ROSS!!)

Unfortunately, the Echelon Mall has been on the decline for a decade. About half of the stores are…read morecurrently empty, or display only. As of 2011, there are a few stores worth stopping by for. But most of the other area malls are better. But there is a light on the horizon. Echelon has been transformed into "Voorhees Town Center" which is a combination of condos, the Mall, and a series of small specialty stores which mostly are set to "open in Fall 2011". There is a good chance Echelon will be a much more fun place to visit next summer when we're back in the area.
