Called them 17th Sept
They came to measure 18th Sept advised 2-3 weeks to fit
Came back to me with a quote 20th Sept
I paid my deposit (60% of total) 20th Sept they advised of 2 weeks to fit
They came for final measurements 25th Sept they advised of 2 weeks to fit
Chased them Fri 5th October for fitting date and they advise:
1) They have other customers to cater for
2) They have a show to do
3) That 18th Oct is the earliest date possible
Whatever happened to keeping a customer informed?
Would have got them to do my curtains in the New Year, but if this is how they treat a new customer I'll be looking elsewhere.
I am sure once they read this it will get their hackles up (that seems to be the norm in the South West), whereas the correct business approach (moreso for a start-up) is to try extra hard to impress a new and now disgruntled customer. read more
